Ok far as I am concerned it will be the swamp music message board from now on I will never talk about anouther treeing Walker strain again like I said I pay a lot of money for dog papers not to get to talk about them casually on the the message main board if I was promoting anything that's different I got a one eyed 11 yr old dog and a bunch of memories and that's it if that's offensive well.............. You keep chopping that tree will finally fall boys and you can't put it back together and make it grow again.

I've moved several post since becoming a Mod. Some Walker related, some asking about hound hauling, some about what stud they should breed to. None of those have cried about it like you have.

I think tar is right this time, there wasn’t anything pertaining to the buying breeding or sailing dogs that I read, heck even the blood line mag may run a page or two on dogs of the past but apparently we won’t be able to debate it on here! Maybe next time change the title to Back In The Day.

It's about respect its simple for you because all you got to do is push a button to make it that way. Put yourself in my shoes no matter what screw up is made at major hunts we try and talk about it on here it gets deleted I set behind that moh table for free so I have enough money to pay for the hunt packet I am driving 2 hrs to judge the youth hunt Saturday and I am not charging them. I drove 5 1/2 hours to Missouri to talk to Allen and he would not stand still long enough. If sombody is not satisfied at a hunt about the way the brass is handling things ole tar try's to smooth it over and tell them good things are coming in reality we all know nothing is going to change. And then we guys that have been at this game 30 plus years and done anything asked and owned some of the foundation stock of today's dogs and paid ain't no telling how much $$$ into this kc can't even relive the past a little bit and have a good time and get your thread put on the back burner it's selfish and disrespectful I can name some names if they got on here you wouldn't move their thread they can do no wrong but they have and they will again read this twice before you delete it.

I must say it is nice to see on the coonhounds board as it is seen by more and enjoyed by more, no it's not hard to go to the Walker board but it is more likely to be seen and conversed on the coonhounds board . Just my opinion of course!

Because the participation is much lower on the breed boards. Talking about coonhounds of the past should not have to be breed specific. Any dog of any breed could have been brought up. What if we had some discussion about red bones on the same thread? I don't think one person cares that we were discussing that on the main board where everyone is. If it was about one particular dog or promoting a bloodline I could see the issue. Personally I don't care, but you asked.

Seems like when a thread is moved, then it is about dead,most people get on here and look at the main board, then they are gone,those threads that were a hot topic are no longer a topic at all, I have seen it many times.....
To a person that is on here and aware of how the board works, moving it is not a big deal, but a newer person don't know where to look,or don't bother to go to the breed specific section,then that thread is dead, and soon gone.

Everything about general discussion should be posted on the main thread. When posted elsewhere it is hardly ever seen, due to the fact that most of us look at this section and maybe the selling dogs section, and we are gone. Why should we have to hunt down a topic by moving from section to section? I'm not crying or otherwise, but this guy likes it simple, and yes talking about any color hound should be acceptable in the general discussion section. What else is it for? Why do we all come on a coonhound board? to talk about cats?

I got on this website for the cur dogs and that section is kind of stagnant...but being a dog man I tend to keep up with most topics and just love a good hunting dog No matter what breed...I checked this site out and I liked it pretty well...so I stick around...it’s a good pasttime and can get interesting at times...sometimes very educational...

Many forums have gotten stagnant...hopefully this is here to stay...

The walker page is a joke. The whole web site has less traffic due to people worrying about where something should be posted rather than just sharing.

Then we have the snowflakes that get offended at a cross wind.

I used to be able to have entertaining reading for a few minutes each day. Now I rarely post, or spend more than 2-3 minutes when I visit.
