What do you mean a higher performaning dog? He made grand nite in 7 weeks in 5 different states 8 hunts! He's s good hunting dog that's gonna strike the first track he comes to and have the coon more times than not he's got a great mouth

Is there a performance trait or traits that he has that always exceed the competition?

What sticks out the most to me is he's not a slick treeing fool like a lot of hounds you see now days. His mouth is what I call above average
