Reaper......

I am Hard to please with a Light, I have to really like everything about it to give a two thumbs up....👍🏻👍🏻.
I have to say, this Reaper DD gets my vote.....it is Nice.
Don't let the pictures having you think it's huge, it's not. It is Very comfortable and not any heavier than other Lights like it.
But really, there is No Other Light like it......its in a Class of its own.
Other Lights may have a good Walklight, but the Reaper DD has the Best Walklight......Period...!!!
The DD has a really White Main Beam, but the Coon Fur just stands out good.....You can shine the Top of Any Tree and count the rings on a Coon Tail--No Joke.
Burntime----No worry there, you will get 4-5 hours on high....doesn't get much better than that.
I had the original Reaper on the Ridgeline Bump Cap, but got my Reaper DD on the Hybrid Soft Cap with Liner......I like this setup the best.
The Colors Red and Amber are BRIGHT.........the Amber is the Bomb...!!!

That's my take on the Reaper DD......
Don't settle for anything less than the Best.....Reaper Double Death.

I picked up a new Double Death at Oaks. Traded my old Grave Digger in on it. I already had a Reaper. Here's my take on the Reaper VS the Reaper Double Death. Both are fantastic lights IMO. I don't know how they could possibly be improved upon. I have found that with the off colored main beams such as on the Sunspot or Boss Hotspot, my eyes can't make out detail in really tall trees. That doesn't matter much this time of year but I can really tell the difference in the winter time. The main thing I like best about the Double Death is the addition of another color. Mine has double white walk light, double red, and double amber. You can get also get green instead of amber or probably amber and green instead of red. I LOVE my Reaper but I have said that I really wished Bright Eyes would add another color because I like to use amber or green as a walk light in the summer because it doesn't attract bugs. Well they have done that and to me, it's the perfect light! Also, Mr. Ray Conrad gave me what I felt like was a great trade in on my old Grave Digger. He is a stand up guy that stands by his products. He will have me as a customer as long as he is in the light business.

The Double Death has Double the Batteries, so you get Double the burn time.
You really can't tell much of a difference while wearing them.

hunted with my double death this weekend. very good light.its ALOT brighter than the trivecta that ive had for 5 years. I got the belt light. after using I wish I had got the caplight.

I am in the market for a new light...gonna be a Christmas present to myself. What are the pros and cons of the Double Death Reaper vs the Dakota Apex vs the Superior Hellcat. I have narrowed my list to those three.

All 3 are Very Nice Lights.....the Apex is going to be cheaper in price, but wont have as good of a Walklight as the other 2.
The Reaper DD burntime is Double over the regular Reaper........ I cant say just yet on the HellCat, but I do have one waiting for me at home....just came today.
I will compare the weight, etc later tonight.
This New HellCat is going to be Nice....!!!

I have owned All 3 that you mentioned........
The Reaper DD & Superior Hellcat are brighter in Every Department when compared to the Apex.
The Apex is a good light, but in my opinion it's not in the same ball park as the Reaper DD & the Superior Hellcat.

I got the reaper double death light a little over a week ago and so far it's awesome. The walk light and colors are awesome! Most trees can be shined with the walk light. And the spot is brighter than anything I've seen. I was expecting it to be heavy but it's really not bad.

Don't know if it's because my eyes don't focus like they used to but I was really having trouble with my old light and it's supposed to be one of the best. With the reaper dd I can see coons and walk very clearly!!!!!

If you can't see with this Walklight then you need to get your eyes checked.
If you can't find the Coon in the Tallest Tree with the Main Beam on the DD, then you need to check your Dog Power....😉

It's not any bigger than other Battery packs, I can't tell any difference. It's very comfortable on the Caplight, I think it would be fine on the Belt Clip Beltlight .......
It's a Very Nice Light with all the Bells and Whistles. The Amber Color is Awesome.....!!!
