Rough night all of the way around...4 Redbones hunted but no winners....
Bolt ran in a cornfield most of the night then finally treed on an old collapsed barn. Boone treed the only coon in his cast but had 4th strike. Dog with 2nd strike got 2nd tree and beat him by 25 points.

But my RedBull pup has won 2 out of 4 this week at showcase..with some luck tonite hope to win another and have a shot at the overall sophmore division...we came real close the 2 nites we got beat...So wish us luck...FISHCREEKS REDBULL is still in.it.to.winit..

Well get it done brother.

We sure didn't do any good. One dog is sick and the other looked really good tonight and didn't get the break we needed at the end. He treed one solo for 125+ , then another dog split with 150+. With 12 min left they called time out to move and we were down 25. He treed another one solo right away for 150 but sucked a dog in from a long ways to get a piece of it and got beat by 25. Hate those me tooing Holsteins. lol

Richard, I don't think anyone is around here anymore. It's so quiet in here. I think everyone is on family vacation.

Doc, they are reading and watching. They are just not posting or replying. They hardly ever say anything but it is surprising how many people know what the standings are in that other KC. I will be watching for Buck to show up.

I did Donnie and thanks for the words on Cali. It's been a tough year. Buck has been like a breath of fresh air so far. We've only had him a week and we're still getting to know each other. The first night Van cut him loose with another really good dog, he slammed a coon in 5 min about 70 yards away from the truck and the other dog kept running and got .7 miles deep by the time they pulled Buck off the tree. They cut Buck loose again and he treed another one about 50 yards away. Two nights later he did the same thing again and treed 3 in a hurry and a 4th in a den. Since then he's done the same thing twice, once pleasure hunting and another one in 4 min last night in the hunt on the first turnout. Can't wait to see what he does next week up in the coon zoo. Got our first win with him last night in Iowa with Van handling him. I think he's going to fit right in to the program. 👍😎

I've always been a fan of the Coffman breeding program all the way back to Coffman's Joe and Smokey Mountain Dooley. I've integrated their breeding into my breeding program in the 90s with Squall Mountain Goldie who was out of Smokey Mountain Brandy. The last good dog I remembered of theirs was the Smoke dog so it was good to catch up with Mike on what I missed in the last 20 years with ZBO, Jericho, and Lucy. Buck incorporates my old blood on the top in Ranger who was double Timber Jack top and bottom, with the best of the Coffman / Young stuff on the bottom. His mom , Chiggers is double bred ZBO top and bottom being out of Lucy and Jericho. I really like that cross and hopefully he will pass all those good genes down to his offspring. I believe there are 3-4 dogs in that 3 gen pedigree that placed in the top 20 of the UKC World Hunt including Buck himself. Richard would know those stats as would Mike. I think besides Buck though, Ranger , Lucy, Jericho, and ZBO all placed and I know Smoke placed too. There's definitely some winning genes in this bloodline. 😜

Let's see how far he can go in the $kC now. 💰💰💰💰💰💰

So I was telling you guys about the quick coon Buck has been putting up on the first drop above. Get this, tonight he treed the first coon of the hunt in 34 seconds. Man I don't think I've ever seen a dog tree that many coon out of the truck on the first drop that fast. That is insane. lol Won tonight with 550+, no circle. Mike is gonna be a happy man tomorrow when he hears this. Congrats to Van and Buck on another great performance.
