I'm no expert but if it hasn't been to bad of an issue before I woudn't be super concerned. Most every dog has slumps. Mine does not slick to often but when the hunting his tough he sometimes doesn't finish them on a tree either. So it's kind of pick your poison lol.

I'm in southern Indiana and I been having a horrible time. Just hunting a young dog by himself, but he treed 2 two and a half weeks ago, so I know he can do it still. Haven't treed one since though. Pretty low population anyway though, on top of anything else that might be going on. Heck it may just be lack of dog power for me i don't know.

most sows are bred and ready to have their kits, they get down to grab a bite and drink and go back to the den, so in reality your really only running boars, that lessons the field a good bit.
