Tyler is the most experienced handler among all off us. I just wish I had half the talent of him and his dogs. Tyler will always be part of are clan weather he wants to be or not, because we base are efforts and goals on what he has acheived. Maybe sometime he will want to go hunting with me again. How about Thursday?? Please Tyler I need some more lessons from your book of training before I go to the big hunt next week.

Tyler did call last week wanting to go but I had to stay home that night .

I sure hope Justin post some of his videos that I received tonight....

Yes Richard my Dad has saved me a lot of walking in the past. A good truck man is very important. Just the other night Brusier had treed along way from the truck and we found out we could fit 6 grown men and three dogs in my jeep xj. He came around on the next road and picked us up in the pooring down rain.

Tyler, the last time that we hunted "together" we were only together long enough to turn the dogs loose.

Jared, I don't know if experience is the word I would use. And richard, you are right. We had dogs scattered everywhere that night. But we did tree some coons though.

How did Old washed up Boone do last night? Your bluetick and Blakes Xbred pup did a nice job on a den tree. Fancy treed a giant coon about 700 yards from us. Then your Bluetick did a fantastic job on a... well he hunted real good and treed even better . I was proud of him.

He treed two. First was about 500 yards, the second was about 250. Clifford got his first battle wound. The ol coon bit his ear, then it was on like
Donkey Kong.

He get's a lot of attention here. I think he enjoys when Parker goes out and talks to him. Might even load him up and take him to town one night soon.

What does Parker think when Boone slobbers all over him? Jared thinks that it is funny but I can't stand it. I think that Jared trained him to do that.

I went on my annual New Years hunt tonight after midnight. The rest of the deer creek cartel bailed out on me but I still went anyways . I turned Bruiser loose first and he went about 300 yards in 6 minutes and had one. Then I turned Fancy loose and she treed one in about 10 minutes at 500 yards. I guess these would my first two Coons of 2017. Not bad for a couple of pot licking Reddogs.

Brusier with the first one.

Fancy with the second.

I took Boone out. 950 to a coon. Drug a track with it for Clifford. I think it's close enough to call it "spring".

You deer creek guys have got it going on. I got a nice video from Matt also. It won't be long before y'all can just turn Bell and Clifford loose together and tree coons.

I went last night with Robert Stalcopp and his son Bishop. Kinda had a crazy night at first. It then got better.
1. Forgot the Garmin Alpha,
2. Grandpa Keith and Hadleigh went to back to get Alpha.
3. Fancy treed a ????
4. Hadleigh learns how to use Alpha on way back in Jeep.
5. Fancy stops treeing.
6. Dad Is always gonna remember to lock Alpha when not in use.
7. English Dog trees a Den
8. Fancy comes back then retrees and has Coon.
9. Shoot coon out.
10. Dad is feeling better!!
11. Turn loose again and tree another coon.
12. Hunting with friends, family, kids and making memories- priceless!!

Oh my goodness, Now I hear that Matt has a new pup trainer. I didn't hear that part of the story. It is pretty bad when a 9 mos old pup shows your old dogs how it's supposed to be done.

Didn't win my cast tonight . Got beat by a better dog tonight. Fancy treed 2 Coons and the other walker female treed 3. Oh well maybe tomorrow.
