Over this year I ave drew out with several Bone dogs and I have been impressed. Are there any out there that are for sale or pups on the ground.

???

How many were in his litter and are any of his littermates reproducing anything like him?

I've hunted with some, out of different females.

They have varied in terms of mouth and such.

But the Bone dogs seem to have one common denominator--them suckers have a knack for ending up under a Ricky, and a lot of the time by themselves.

Coon treeing ability is where it's at when you boil it all down, and he throws it.

And I'm a Bluetick man.

He has or had a littermate sister. The Bad Company dog Curt Ahring is hunting is out of her. Doug said he had a littermate brother treed coons first night hunted and got ran over the second night.

I've hunted with a lot of Bone dogs and I'd take a serious look at the mother's bloodline for that tight mouth. Just sayin'

My littermate to yours ain't working out . She hasn't treed a coon can't find an arrowhead and hasn't caught a fish. She is good at riding in my lap and looking pretty so I'll keep hauling her I guess.

I don't usually make excuses for one but since she's only about 12 weeks old I think I'll give her another week or two to make a coondog

Bone Dogs

I've seen some awful nice coon treeing dogs out of Bone. I'm looking for one out of him that drives a cold track with their head up and runs to catch along with being a top tree dog. Can anyone recommend one that I can hunt with?

Posted by rob thompson on 10-29-2016 10:10 PM:

Just take penny down and breed to him that's your best bet then sell me one!

All I can say is Wow, thanks for all the kind words about Bone, He has been a blessing to me and my partners and my family. Only thing I regret is not pushing him a little harder, for a good time period I hunted some nice pups out of him and let him lay in the pen, if I had it to do over again I would have been hunting him. They get old quick enjoy them while you can. Again thanks for the kind words.

big game

I asked this on an older thread once and didn't get a response, so I'll ask again... Have any bone pups been tested on big game, specifically bear? Just curious.
