1st nite out

Got a youngin at the kennel that got her first chance of season tonite.1st turnout as usual turned into a headache.Had to catch her of the road. She ran a track thru a big standing cornfield and got on the road.Did a nice job of it in corn.2nd turnout ran an old feeder track and fell treed on a big oak with the coon lookin down. Rolled it out and headed home.She's 7 months old and doing real nice.Good huntin,Danny G.

Sounds like she's well on her way Danny. Jam and I picked up a win in PKC Thursday night then won a mini slam in UKC last night so you could say I've had a good last 2 nights of hunting.

Trevor what are you doing for the nice lighting to take pictures? Since I went to the LED light I always get the bright spot even on low settings

Honestly Ron, I just use my android Samsung phone with my sunfire hd light turned all the way up. When I upgraded phones my picture qualities went way up.

Thats what i use also but i turn my light off and just use the flash on my phone.
We are having fun so far this season.

What a great coon season so far. These cold clear nights just help you evaluate your dogs. Very happy with mine.

I took in a night hunt Saturday night at the Lisbon club. I didn't win but had a great time and saw some real good dog work. Our cast had the high score of 925 plus and a very nice walker male named Jack won the Turkey Classic Trophy. We looked at 5 coon treed and a couple dens. Hope all had a nice Thanksgiving!

Sounds like a great cast Ron.

I took Jam last night for a few cuts. Anyone else enjoy that beautiful night? Jam Slammed one right off 200 yards away. Re cut her off that she went 600 in about 10 minutes and had one treed in a field tile. Loaded up went somewhere else. I cut he right off the road she thought it better to cross the road into a rabbit thicket and had one treed 40 yards off the road. It amazes me how the really good dogs just seem to having a knack for knowing where to go to tree a coon. I have some upcoming PKC hunts to take her too hopefully we can keep it rolling.

Anyone else having problems with photobucket? I can no longer upload my photos from my phone to the photobucket app.

We have had some real good hunts on this ice and snow. Left the dogs sit a couple nights so the coons could acclimate a little. Started going out about 7:00 and coon were moving OK. Both my young dogs are looking pretty good and hoping to hits some early hunts this coming year. Got a new phone and it seems to take some nice pictures so maybe I can get some on here soon. Hope all had a nice Christmas and looking forward to a great new year. Plan on making two new night champions in 2017, wish me luck!

Sounds like things are going pretty good for you Ron!! we made it out some since it warmed up.. My son lost his female in a tile the other night so that Set us back some. We haven't been out since then

So sorry to hear that. I would rather they got hit on the road than have that happen. Does he have another to hunt? Let me know if i can help find him another.

Thanks Ron!! yeah it's a terrible way to lose a dog.. he really liked her and Done some winning with her in the youth hunts over the past few years, So he has some good memories of the old girl.. luckily he does have another female to hunt that he likes but this set him back some.

Been hunting about every chance I get. 3 days this week with some real good hunts. Looked at 13 coon total about 5 dens or so and I think 2 empties.

This is Hook doing his thing after a good long run through a flooded woods Tuesday night. Not a finished dog yet but doing well.

Had a good hunt with Jam and Blue last night. Jake and I cut them 2 times together and walked to 4 trees. 3 coon and a den. Everything was flooded and temps were dropping fast with the wind but coon moved. That's the first time they have been turned together in over 6 months. I'm very proud of the progress Blue has made he is really turning into a top hound.

Hunted 3 nights this week. All good productive hunts. Treed on 19 coon the last 4 nights out with several trees with doubles. Also saw a couple sitting up. Half dozen or so dens. 3 holes. And 2 empties. Both dogs doing well most of the time. Wednesday hook cut his front pad on ice prrtty bad so he is done for a while. Last night speck got into deep water and was struggling some but she made it out.. lotsa fun

Yes i am blessed with some good spots. Several of us share our spots and buddy hunt with each other to give us more places to go. I am also blessed with in knowing a few guys that enjoy pleasure hunting as much as i do. Sounds like your having a good season also.
