1/2 the story

Typically what you see on these news networks is only 1/2 the story.

I'd for once like to see them publicize the criminal records of these so-called victims. And then, just to be fair, also publicize the criminal records of the cops (shouldn't have a criminal record).

If I were black, I'd be offended to be associated with some of these groups. Just like, being white, I'd be offended to be associated with the KKK. Same applies to Italians and Greeks, and association with the Mafia. Or Muslims, and association with ISIL, etc.

In some of these crime-ridden communities, a black cop is considered a turncoat!

I saw one of the black politicians saying the best deterrent to crime is a J-O-B. I'd add to that; if you want a J-O-B, (1) stay clear of D-R-U-G-S, (2) don't participate in C-R-I-M-E, and (3) go to S-C-H-O-O-L!!!

I wouldn't hire an uneducated white person with a drug and criminal background. The same applies to black, red, yellow, or green. But, give me someone that is well-qualified, and I could care less about race, gender, or sexual orientation. NUFF SAID!!!

Anybody remember the LA riots and Reginald Denny? If he would've been allowed to carry, which far as I know LA county wasn't issuing CCW permits to citizens then, he might not be dealing with slurred speech and difficult walking yet today. The people in NC that were stuck on the highway were told to lock their doors and sit tight, help is on the way. Don't think I'd want to depend on that.

On April 29, 1992, at 5:39 pm, Denny loaded his red dump truck with 27 tons of sand and began driving to a plant in Inglewood, where the sand was due. He left the Santa Monica Freeway and took a familiar shortcut across Florence Avenue to get to his destination. His truck had no radio, so he did not realize that he was driving into a riot. At 6:46 pm, after entering the intersection at Normandie, rioters threw rocks at his windows, and he heard people shouting for him to stop. Overhead, a news helicopter with journalists Zoey Tur and his wife aboard captured the events that followed.

The chaos forced Denny to stop in the middle of the street. Antoine Miller opened the truck door, giving others the chance to pull Denny out. Another man, Henry Keith Watson, then held Denny's head down with his foot. Denny was kicked in the abdomen by an unidentified man. Two other unidentified men, who had led a liquor store break-in earlier that day, hurled a five-pound piece of medical equipment at Denny's head and hit him three times with a claw hammer. Damian Williams then threw a brick at Denny's head and knocked him unconscious.

Williams then did a victory dance over Denny and flashed gang signs at news helicopters, which were televising the events live; he also pointed and laughed at Denny. Anthony Brown then spat on Denny and left with Williams. Several bystanders took pictures of Denny but did not attempt to help him. LAPD officers in the vicinity did not assist Denny, either.

After the beating, various men threw beer bottles at the unconscious Denny. Gary Williams approached Denny and rifled through his pockets. Lance Parker stopped near Denny and attempted to shoot the fuel tank of Denny's truck but missed.

Curtis Yarbrough, Bobby Green, Titus Murphy and Terri Barnett (boyfriend and girlfriend), and Lei Yuille (a dietitian), who had been watching the events on television, came to Denny's aid. Denny eventually regained consciousness and dragged himself back into the cab, driving away from the scene slowly and erratically. Green (himself a truck driver), boarded Denny's truck and took over at the wheel, his friend Curtis Yarbrough drove Denny to the Daniel Freeman Hospital in Inglewood. Green drove the truck back to the company location also in Inglewood. Those who helped Denny were recognized by the City of Los Angeles, TRW trucking, and Washington Mutual Bank (now Chase Bank).

Paramedics who attended to Denny said he came very close to death. His skull was fractured in ninety-one places and pushed into the brain. His left eye was so badly dislocated that it would have fallen into his sinus cavity had the surgeons not replaced the crushed bone with a piece of plastic. A permanent crater remains in his head despite efforts to correct it. Denny underwent years of rehabilitative therapy, and his speech and ability to walk were permanently damaged.

Isn't it strange that most of the protesters at all these riots are from out of state from where they are rioting. Paid by SOMEONE, strange right?
