I will respectfully disagree, and here's why:

Compare the score cards of major events between KCs and their winners. See which one has more trees on it. They are breeding for a truly independent hound, not one that just gets by themselves on occasion, but every single time.

The other reason I disagree is you still have to see a coon to score it, and you still need plus points to win, a countdown would only help eliminate the dog that covers 3 or 4 times in a hunt and comes out a CW.


Personally I was more upset by the fact the immediate squalling didn't pass, but I wasn't there to voice my opinion and that's just the way life goes sometimes.


I'll continue to support as many KC's as I am financially able and have the time. I may whine about the rules some, but I will still go.

I will also add that I agree that there should be a different method for reviewing rule changes. I would gladly volunteer some time to come up with some recommendations on voting on rule changes.
