We are all brain washed. First thing a politician learns is how to talk if one cant be pol. correct the the older ones wont groom him or her to be a career politician. We think if they dont sound like the ones before them that they are nuts. Im just curious to know how Abe Lincoln sounded when talking to a news paper man or a whoever. I would say if he had something to say to someone he said it. Good or bad. Now they tell us what to think drink smoke eat and how much of everything and they tell us how to act how to raise kids how many kids we need they tell us how to talk they tell us everything about our lives and when someone comes into the picture that goes agai st the grain we and the politcal world calls him a train wreck or loose cannon or an idiot. And here we are talking the same thing.

Trump says some stuff and it's only what some have been thinking. Just like his new so called screw up about what he said about 2nd amendment supporters. We've discussed it here before as well. Most of America want tolerate anybody taking their guns. So what Trump said it. Did the liberals really think any different. They think folks will just hand over their gun rights? That WILL NOT happen peacefully. I hate it but it want and most everybody knew that I thought. This is America by gosh

It makes me sick when I hear how millions of evangelicals stayed home in 2012, because they couldn't support a Mormon. How has that worked out for America? Media bias is the main stream media, not cable news outlets. If it wasn't for the cable news outlets, we'd be led to believe Obama was the second coming of Christ, and Hillary, is a modern version of Mother Teresa.

Bruce, I can respect that!! However I can not support Trump. His story on his abortion switch is rather vague. He has a personal story he says, but details are few, and questions about the story are even less than that. As for the mainstream media it's mainstream because it at least tries to appear objective. Cable networks is what has put us in this mess. They blame the republicans as being as bad or worse than Democrats. If what we are told by these outlets is true, and Obama, and Clinton are the great Satan. If that is true. Who has protected are liberties, such as our second amendement rights? Why is the only legeslation Obama has been able to pass while republicans have controled both house and senate came by way of executive orders? Why are we not on prayer mats facing Mecca 5 times a day? The answer is the republicans, yet these outlets rail against them day after day. Fox news is the most watched news network wether cable or otherwise, and they are beyond bias. With that being said is the mainstream slanted left? Of course. It has been for deades Trump should know this, and stop giving them endless sound bits.

Christians stayed home because they said they couldn't support a mormon, I wasn't one of them. I agree that killed the country. With that being said I am not going to support Trump not because of his religion or lack there of, but rather because he is a NY liberal.

I will apply for a Trump TV show and if he's lying all of us. I will walk up and slap his hair slap outta place. Plus no president is going to stop abortion in this day and time. It ain't happening and I don't care what they say. Gotta think of the Supreme Court nominees at this point I guess.

Q: In 1999, you said you were "very pro- choice." Even supporting partial-birth abortion.
TRUMP: I've evolved on many issues over the years. And then since then, I've very much evolved. And what happened is friends of mine years ago were going to have a child, and it was going to be aborted. And it wasn't aborted. And that child today is a total superstar, a great, great child. And I saw that.

I wonder if that child, like my oldest girl, had Down Syndrome (or some other health/mental disability) or turned out to be something other than a "superstar", would he have still be "very pro choice"?

It's very possible if not probable he would still be pro choice.

Where is your faith? Why do you even "wonder" what would have happened if?

Do you not believe God had a hand in Trump's friends changing their minds about aborting their baby? Do you think God didn't know what it would take to change Trump's heart about pro choice?

Do you believe God didn't know how Trump would be affected by seeing that baby grow up?

Why question it?

Worst Choices We've Ever Had.

I'm in Punt mode. Punt till 2020.

I don't believe that we have ever had worse candidates in my lifetime.

Both Hillary and Trump are corrupt and dishonest (my opinion).

I hate the idea of voting for Hillary, but can not vote for Trump. Such awful choices.

I think Hillary is corrupt and dishonest, but less likely to harm our country.

We need major reform when we are stuck with choices like this. We are not choosing a leader. We are trying to decide who will do less damage!

Honalieh, who is president does not make as much difference as most people think. Who is nominated to the US Supreme Court will make more difference than most people can imagine. They will determine the stance of the supreme court for the next 10 to 30 years.

Trump hopefully would nominate conservative judges while we know that Hillary would nominate liberal progressive judges. The judges that Hillary would pick WILL DESTROY THE 2ND AMENDMENT FIRST AND THE WORK ON THE 1ST AMENDMENT. Hillary hates them both!!!

I disagree!! Leadership starts from the top down! Is the only difference Obama has made on this country due to his one Supreme court judge? Absoulety not! His affect reachs far beyond that!

The Supreme court argument for Trump is a failing argument. One because the judges that are going to be replaced are already liberal. Second it comes down to do you believe Trump, and if you believe him at what time did you start believeing him. Did you believe him when he said he was 100% pro-choice? Or do you believe him now since he running for pres, when he says he's pro-life? Did you believe him when he said his sister would make a phenominal judge? Or do you believe him now, when he says he will appoint conservative judges? The list goes on and on. He is a dangereous man. Who if elected moves the whole republican party to the left.

Tom, most of your argument is based on opinion! What was he supposed to say about his sister, she would suck at being a judge? Maybe, just maybe, he will replace some of those liberal Supreme Court judges with conservative leaning judges! If you've never changed your mind on anything, or have never had a change of heart, then I would say you have every right to question Trumps "evolving", on his past views! But, if you've changed your mind on anything from your past, why is it ok for you, and not Donald Trump? I know with life experience, I've changed my way of thinking on many issues!

It's not opinion when the facts are there for all to see who care to look. Trump was supporting the assault weapons ban in 1994 and again in 2012. It's true we change as we mature, but Trump's positions were pretty consistent throughout his life until he was 69 and decided to run for president as a Republican. This is not the same as a 40 year old being different than the same 20 year old.

Hey Harvey you really think Congress could stop Hillary? Hahaha. Go ahead and vote her in and see buddy. I mean after all look at how good they have stopped big O.

I don't care how much you hate Trump or how much you distrust him, he MIGHT turn out ok.

You know Hillary is worse and will do more damage in the long run.

I'll take a 50% chance of bad over 90% chance of BAD any day!! We really have no other choice do we!!!

Brother, if you're searching for the perfect candidate, let me know who it is, and I will jump all over that bandwagon! Trump is a gamble, but Clinton will be Obama on steroids. The GOP gave us McCain, Romney, Boehner, and McConnell! I can only speak for myself, but I'm ready for something different. No more career politicians, who become wealthy while in office. I'm ready for an outsider.

It's always puzzling when the Trump backers resort to the no one is perfect argument. This is like saying we've entered the night in which all cows are black. Trump's record is still Trump's record. What is so hard about that to understand?

The man spent his entire life until June 2015 supporting lefty policies. Now he spends his time alienating the voters he needs to win. This makes it hard for real conservatives and independents to vote him. What does that leave? The 14 million who experienced Trump affective contagion and not much else.

I like Trump better than any of them. I kinda liked McCain but he didn't stand a chance. Trump actually has a chance I think. Just like everywhere else I see besides the liberal dumb dumb media. Trump is ahead by a landslide on here to. These few can cry and complain all they want but Trump has support of most ukc hunters on this page. The polls are fake. Don't fall for em.

Tom I can respect that, I was in the exact same boat. If we were voting for who was going to be a 1 man show dictator, I would still be in the exact spot. I've now resigned myself to vote on 1 issue. Babies. I don't trust Trump as our leader, don't like him as a possible President. But he has a few around him that I line up with and I think would push the issue. If the Planned Parenthood debacle can at least be hamstringed somewhat, verses how Hillary will work to expand it, then I'll try to make my vote count against her. I wont vote for the man but I'll vote for that issue. If just 1 is saved compared to a Hillary administration, then if gives me something worth voting for. Take that away and I'm out.

From what i have seen Trump does say things he shouldnt or at least word it differently but then he would sound like every other politician. I see on this thread people saying that trump lied about this or changed his views on that etc. And Hillary hasn't? It is true that its possible Trump could possibly be a bad president but we dont know. What is true is that we already know how bad Hillary is from the offices she has held and the investigations she has been involved in. I would much rather vote for a might not be as opposed to an isnt worth a plug nickel. jmo

You speak a lot of rhetoric, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, other than to you! What is a "real conservative"? It must be someone who agrees with you. You are pooh poohing the 14 million who supported him, or doesn't our opinions count? I'm a Trump backer, and I'm resorting to the no one's perfect argument. Tell me, who did you support, and did he walk on water, or did he turn the water into wine?

I posted a poll on Coonhounds page. Where most folk dont even look at this page..Go see the landslide ain't was talking about. You can vote but can't reply or you may be banned. I didn't put a 3rd choice because a third choice is a vote for her. So if you ain't voting Trump. Pick Hillary. He will still win

Lol! Since Coonhunters make up about .00001 % of the population and probably only about 50% of Coonhunters are on this message forum, Id estimate you're reaching about .000005 percent of the population.. Combined with the fact that most Coonhunters are going to vote republican no matter who the Nomimnee is because they think that will better protect their gun rights ( which is usually the case except for this election where we have 2 liberal nominees) Pretty good sample Id say.. I can see why you don't pay attention to the other polls..

Bruce, do not try to get real answers. They, just like the media wait for Trump to say anything they don't agree with so they can analyze his statement for days, telling him what a fool he is.
