Thanks, Tom. I hear all this talk about Ted committing "political suicide". Shouldn't voters be more concerned with his performance as an elected official instead of whether or not he tows the party line? I thought the Trump crowd was all about being anti-establishment. [/QUOTE

I personally have more respect now for Cruz, then ever before! He showed he is a principled man. I agree! If Cruz is the great liar Trump made him out to be, why would you his endorsement? Cruz made a pledge to support the republican nominee not endorse him! There's a huge difference. Their is a chance all be it small, and getting smaller by the day, that I might support Trump come election day, but I will never endorse him! You will not see a Trump sign in my yard!

I get it people don't want Hillary in there, I don't either it's sad this is all America has to choose from! We can do so much better.

Well said!

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!, Cruz lost. The Republican party has chosen Donald Trump as the nominee. Should you support the Republican agenda, Trump is who you get to vote for this year. If not you get to vote for Hillary. Your third choice would be to get a box of Kleenex and wait four years.

This is One of the Many problems with the GOP......
They can't and won't come together, they always like some kind of drama just because they don't get their way. Trump beat every opponent that ran against him and by a landslide.....!!!
Yet, they can't rally behind their Party and their Nominee.......😩.....😏

A landslide? LOL!! It took Trump until NY voted to nail down the nomination! We were talking brokered convention after Wisconsin. When's the last time that happened? He won in anything, but a landslide!

That's right, Democrats are try to fix the past. China on the other hand is thinking of the future, they have recently changed the law of one child per family, raised it from one to two. Wonder why they are trying to bolster their population. Hmmmmm!

The irony is almost unbelievable! All the things you listed Trump supported until when? A year ago. LOL! Cruz, Rubio, for that matter almost any other republican has fought against! But hey lets go with Trump because he speaks his mind!LOL!!

Let's see, Trump invited Ted to speak at the convention. Ted submitted his speech (I think 3 days prior) to be reviewed and was still allowed to speak. With your line of reasoning, Trump is also a crybaby. I'm just trying to understand your thought process.

My apologies. I don't know where the 3 days came from. It stuck in my head for some reason. Maybe that's when the invitation to speak was extended. The point remains.

No need to apologize, knowing the media they're probably wrong!

I don't even know why we are discussing him. He lost. Same as the other 12 or so did. He will never be anything. That was his one shot and he lost.

I agree, to some extent. We probably wouldn't be talking about him if people had actually listened to what was an excellent speech. He did in fact lose, but I disagree that he will never be anything. In fact, many U.S. Presidents lost their initial nomination bid. If all he ever accomplishes is being a phenomenal Senator for the great state of Texas (which he has already accomplished, and continues to accomplish), then he has done pretty well by any standards. If the people of this nation or even Texas can't look at his record in Congress and make an informed vote, well that's not Ted's problem.

He lead the the way from beginning until he took the Nomination.....the other Candidates didn't stand a chance, the Establishment was knocked off their feet and never knew what to do.

Really in actual numbers, only 8% of the total population voted for Trump in the primaries, Less than 10% voted for Hillary.
