In rural areas and small towns across America you won't see a division. If you approach people, you'll find that they will be friendly and try to be helpful.

Brother, if you base the condition of this country on the people you meet, you're in for a rude awakening! Hate to tell you, but it's a great big world out there. Unless you're a politician, just how many people do you meet?

Most everybody I meet thinks like me. I don't go anywhere cept Coon clubs and deer camp and work. Yall on here is as diverse as I get lol. Don't go visit no neighbors. Don't have any real close. Ones I do have are crazy. They don't like hounds at all. One gave me a new bark collar though. Hung it on my mailbox lol. Prolly a bunch of liberal move ins. I'm steered to meet them. I really would have liked to meet the one that gave me the bark collar..

If you don't base your opinions on first hand knowledge and experiences, what do you base it on? Most people are basically good people. You wouldn't know that from watching TV, because they focus on the small minority of bad things rather than the everyday good things (good things are rarely considered newsworthy).

Look at the recent floods in southern WV. Thousands to tens of thousands of people helped directly or indirectly. Look at the fundraisers and donations for people that have suffered from medical issues and catastrophies (ex. fires). People will come out to help! I think this is more reflective of our society than the bad things that the media seems to cover 24/7.

If you sit there and watch the propaganda media tell you how bad things are, you could very well miss out on all the good things that happen everyday (and don't make the news).

Do you live in a cave? Are you telling me everything I see on the news is not really happening, because people are generally good people? Did you pay any attention to the conventions, and all the protesters? Like I said, there's a great ol big world out there, and it's divided!

Evrerything you see on the news is edited to show what they want you to see not what happened, or why it happened. That is the reason people are in the streets burning buildings and so on. Just becuase it on the news dosent mean its the hole story.

I think u took what i said in the wrong way what i ment was that the videos that start these riots and movments as they are called are edited by the news media to enrage a group of people. They are only showing you the end or middle not why it happened. All the things are real but they are happening because our so-called leaders are allowing the media to show these false hoods daily. They are also allowing people to riot and tear this country apart because of it. Thats all im saying
