We couldn't get 16 Redbones to commit so it is every man for himself. It won't be an "all Redbone Slam". There are 4 Redbones entered now. If you still want to hunt call UKC or you can enter on their interweb link.

Oh my goodness, it looks like the Marshall Super Slam is a go. Just look at that list of people who have reserved an entry. Now the big question is, what dog will they hunt? You know that David Dial and Mr Gingerich can just about have their pick of any dog in the country. Will David be packing a Redbone? Jeff, is Jessie out of heat? This would be a great weekend for Mr Omedian to come back down and spectate. Corey, are you going to come down to keep the boss in line? I wonder if Wendy will be out of heat or will I have to hunt the Ol' Man? Will there be a Boone X Jim showdown?

I sure do hope that I don't draw out with that Gingerich fellow. I hear that he can be a handfull. Someone told me that he just makes up the rules as he goes. I also saw Dennis Van Buren's name on there. Can that old man even walk? I thought that he was using a walker to get around? Jared only has a couple of pups. Is he going to hunt Bruiser or Fancy? I heard a rumor that there would be a "surprise" Redbone there, some old guy that nobody has heard of with a dog that he keeps tied out behind his barn. Jeff, is there any truth to that?

I won't be anywhere near Marshall, IL on the night of the Super Slam. I've heard about all the red power that lives in and around Marshall and chose to steer clear

Maybe you should haul Boone up to B&T Days to give him a little warm up for what is to come?? I'm pretty sure Jared and Boone have placed up there before?

Jesse is out of heat and had warm up hunt last night with some fellows that will be hunting in the slam. She was a little rusty at first but managed to get to herself twice I think we ended up treeing 7 in 2 and half hours.

Looking forward to next weekend

When the Walker guys got wind that half the field was glaring in red, my phone started ringing off the hook. It was the perfect setup for a scalper. It would have been a good investment for me to buy all five remaining tickets and double up on my investment.

Plus, the chances of drawing Richard are too much so it was an easy decision to sell out. I'd probably blow up dealing with all his questions throughout the hunt.

In all seriousness...... thanks to everyone hunting at Marshall this weekend. Hope to see at least a few of the red dogs getting it done. Good luck everyone!
