Nobody wants to read what a crazy Yankee has to say. If you don't like the snow, load that good prospect up and head on down to Batesville for the week. They will let you hunt in the mini slam on Wed and Thursday. Gas is cheap and it is going to be a sunny 65 degrees on Sat.

If my work schedule pans out I'll be hitting the hunts this year. My Fancy bitch will be 4 in May but she's never been competition hunted before I got her. She's one of the nicest I've followed of any color. She has holes sure but she's nice. She's very consistent and does her own thing the majority of the time. She's good at being under Ricky when nothing else is. She's not a super deep hunter but if nothing is moving you'd better have your walking shoes on cause she will take you on a hike in a hurry. She also has a ton of drive and heart that can't be taught.

Fancy is off of GRNITECH PR Millcreek's Yellow River Stone and GRNITECH CH PR East Fork She's A Firecracker. Jeff Murphy has a litter mate that is a Nite Champion already. T J Bolin is hunting him and he's nice too but I like Fancy better! I've heard there's a least one more out there that is nice but never been competition hunted from this litter.

I have a little female out of Maggie and Moon thats gonna make a dog. Tracked and treed some 1st time in the woods at night with Maggie. Been striking before Maggie at times too. Dont know if we will be doing much competing with her this year though. She is a 1 yr old and still needs singled out. Easy to see she has the goods though.

I think the time has just about come for me to cross one of my females on Jeb semen this fall....ive got it narrowed down...it's between two females now

I won my cast in the mini slam Thursday night with only one coon treed. I lost a real heartbreaker Fri night in the last 10 min. We scored on 7 coons. I was 400 points ahead with 15 min left to hunt and had 550+. It was an "exciting" cast for sure. On Sat night, we never treed a coon. That is coon hunting. But I sure did have a lot of fun.
