Most of the people I know that carry are women who you would never expect to be packing , both older and young all intelligent responsible women . I also know several seniors that are packing . As a mother to two young women I have seriously been considering getting them their own to carry . As a woman we are much more vulnerable to being in danger than you men . I can remember a few months ago Cheyenne and I had gone in a road trip to a hunt it wasn't until I was sitting on the side if a dirt road in the middle if no where 400 mi from home with no cell service that I realized he had taken the gun out of the truck . To carry/own or not is a personal choice and should not be infringed . You all and myself should have the right to defend ourselves , feed ourselves with out an over reaching government dictating measures that encroach upon that . As a final note , there is a reason we are still the land of the free , you all should each think on that each time you go to the polls .

Great response! I never carried until an old man asked me if I carried, as I hunt alone, and I told that I did not. He told me of an occasion in which a young man was hitchhiking and was picked up by a pair of marines. The marines molested the young man. He told me that I ought to carry. So I do. Being in the wilderness assures one of his anonymity. Assured anonymity bring out the evil in a person. When a person knows for sure that they can do evil and get by with it, that person is limited only by his conscience. As a small man, that's not enough for me.
