And maybe the Buster Line ??

Nice hound and really nice win

Congrats to all involved.

Larry you know how the people are in this breed some things never change. I would say surely the Sire had something to do with it but who knows he may have just been a sperm donor. I hate it when people dont give BOTH dogs CREDIT when it's well deserved..... I give Credit to the gentleman who chose to make the cross. He must have felt like both dogs could compliment each other. Both hounds and pedigrees deserve equal CREDIT. Oh and while I'm giving Credit I need to give some to the trainers and handlers.

I like that Fiddle blood too. We have some of that up here in the Kennel as well. I know one thing, if those Fiddle dogs Tree coons the way their owner sings writes songs and plays music..... They are keepers.

looks a lot alike

I'm glad to see these Red dogs winning ,congratulations to the owners and handlers . The pedigree reminded me of the dog that place in 2014 Grand American, I think her name was Griddle. Now how was she bred ?? HMMMM

Read the play by play that Allen just posted. Does that sound anything like Rhino? Especially the part about how they caught/handled the dogs after the first 1/2 hour. Rhino would have been long gone. After 1/2 hour you have to get in your truck and go looking for him. But y'all are right. Any hound is a combination of all of the dogs in his/her pedigree plus how he/she is trained/handled.

You can try to sway the performance of Mack anyway you want. But one thing for sure is RHINO & ANNIE are the sire and dam..... And yes you are right, Buster dogs go hunting. But you know as well as I do, you can train ANY dog to handle. I have never hunted with Mack so I can't comment on how, who, when, where, maybe, shoulda, woulda, coulda or who he acts like... All I know is how he is bred and he is bred to be a winner from both pedigrees.... Good luck and Happy New Year

Congrats to Mack and Curtis on their big win. Nice job fellas. I grew up in big stone gap so I know what type of terrain they hunt. It's not for the faint of heart.

Does Kevin Shurley (been awhile since I've seen his name) Still breed the Buster dogs? I had one out of Buster II I really liked but I had to part with her when I went through my divorce. Just curious is all.

Congrats on the win!!!!!

So glad to see you guys are hunting and interested in the OL' BUSTER line. Kevin has several straws of semen on just about all of the known Buster dogs, from time to time he will pull some out and use it. I will probably use some here pretty soon..... I would like to hunt with your female sometime Red Oak Lilly.

the buster dogs are good dogs

Hunted with rhino several times ,he has a coon every time you go to him straight accurate hard hunting coon dog .plus trained a pup or two out of him everything he throughs will make a coon dog if given a chance, and put in the woods

I just love it when a good bunch of guys come out of nowhere with a nice dog and win. No hype here, just nice guys with a nice dog.
hell ya sweet
