Those are some whoppers!

Tony;

He treed one a cupl weeks back that was prob about 28 lbs.....boar w a bobtail.
For some rezn tho that seems to be getting more rare....most coon seem to be more in the 18-22# range anymore....
With alotta the farmers baitin the dickins outta them it seems to have thinned em out a tad and dont see as many big un's.
Thats ok tho....just as soon let a $5 hide run for another day....

Ole rock

Heres a pict i dug up from 2011, my son Todd w Rocky.. I had 2 drops that nite, treed 13 coon, a cupl doubles and a woodpile. Of the 13 coon rocky had 8 different trees he treed on in that timber in about an hour. All 8 had fur....2nd best nite i ever witnessed in the timber....
That was back when a guy thot he cud pay for some dog feed w fur.....now we cant hardly justify shootin em out...

Thats the era in time where i shuda had this dog in the hunts.
Easy to say now..
Oh well.

Rocks here for using as stud if anybody interested in an ole pr dog that just trees coon .....after coon.....after coon.

Nuff said

Gary,, yeah id say we been doing good. Seems like everytime we been out we have a rule of 2 coon or 2 hrs , whichever comes 1st and for the most part we tree a couple b4 the 2 hours is up. I kinda like it that way, the dogs get some work and a fella still gets home in time so mama is happy....
Besta both worlds...lol.

This year we been taking ole rocky about half the time, got too durn many young dogs to deal with. , I plan to continue messing w the blue dogs as
Long as I have fun, keeps a fella outta trouble. !!

Oh well.....Chop...chop.choppp. !
I still like it. !

STUD FEE IS ONE PUP FOR ME!......THATS IT !!

Rock dog

Rocky still has alotta go for a dog about to turn 10yrs old in May.
Wont be long and ya wont find a stud directly outta ole runnin rattler.
This blood is some of the best I have run across over the years.

Sounds as though we might have a female here from Iowa for a date with Rocky in a month or so. Kinda crossin my fingers on that, sounds like a nice young female.

Good to see Rocky is still getting it done. This should be a good cross. Maybe you will get one of those ugly old monkey faced pups out of it. If you do, let me know. I might take it off your hands.

Rocky is a tree dog for sure. Don't know that I've ever seen a better tree dog in a blue hide. His brother was a close second, but he never spit em out like Rocky does.

People better look at this hound. Just because you never comp hunt doesn't make him any less of a coondog. I know his brother could flat light a scorecard up. The most action packed blue dog I've ever owned.

Recon....thanks for the nice words for ole Rocky....yes indeed, i hunted for over 40 yrs n he has been the nicest tree dog naturally tht i have seen in a blue jacket. Thats ultimately what made me go out n buy the babe female from jason davis....simply because Rock has been wsy too nice of an all around dog to not put some more of his blood out there for future use...
Nope, im not mucha competition guy, but i know a once in a life hound ....nuff said.

Looks like shes showing..bellyin up a tad already....stay tuned.
