Had a guy come out shooting one night so I screamed "You just killed Johnny you son of a .....!"

Reckless discharge of a firearm class 4 felony in Illinois

I have had shots fired my way 3 times in my life time while hunting, and 1 was last year coon season by a land owner from his house across the field while heading to my dog treed, I shouted what the heck is wrong with you!! I wasn.t even on his property. And he fired again. I went on in and shot out the coon. Shooting stopped? Maybe he thought I was shooting back? I should have called the Law. But I did pull into his lane and flashed my headlights towards his house and even thought of going up their but my smarter side kicked in LOL
