Yeah Man!!!

They put on a show that night. Tree music for sure when we had all three locked up on that fence row. Then B3 and Apache dried that creek up with the second one and let out one of the prettiest locates I've ever heard. Good time Bro!

You don't need a list Brother... If she has and raises 20, you'll sell out. LOL Tell ya what, call me when you figure out how many left overs you have and I'll send you a couple names of folks here that hunted with B3, Fame (who was set to be the "Next" until I was offered way to much for him by an old fella in Tennessee) and Jim (when he was only 14, or 15 months old)... They'll fight each other over them. I just wish I had a good enough female to breed, so I could get some of these guys to stop asking when pups are going to be available.

Freak

Freak is doin well she is not getting much hunting time lately.

She is definitly bred, hopefully it will go well and we will get a big healthy litter.

Lots of folks excited about this cross, and I am excited about alot of the folks that are willing to put there time into one.

Time will tell !!!

Thanks for Asking.

Ya They Are Here

Been a long nite, She had 5, Ol 5 was last one born. He is ginormous he bust thru come jumping across her leg like a athlete jumping hurdles.

Ol 5 was born at 5 am first pup born on the 5th, 5 pups total and if I remember right a Banjo has 5 strings.Ol 5 just stuck imediately. I just hope Ramon dont pick ol 5 I got plans for him.

Looks like momma is a natural, just hope nothing goes wrong.

Good part is, I still have a shot of B-3 on Ice.

Wont be enough to go around 13 were spoke for but if this cross works we may just do it again.

3 Males
2 females

They should be some nice ones. I hope that she raises all 5. If I were you, I would keep them all.

Wink

Congrats Brother! I hope all goes well. I know your a female dog man, so if you end up so attached to Ol 5 that you can't stand to part with him, we may work something out. LOL I'm willing to bet you'll end up falling in love wroth one of the females anyhow though.

Some History

Larry, I had a litter born here at my kennel just a little over 6 years ago…It was the last live bred litter out of Banjo III. There were 5 pups that lived…3 males and 2 females. My favorite pup was a nice bold male that I really took a liking to and him to me. But, like yourself, I like females or at least my contribution to the redbone breed is to try a find top females. So at my wife's suggestion I gave him to Ramon for breeding my gyp. He turned out to be none other then Gr Nt Ch PKC Silver Ch Jon Henry… I on the other hand kept a nice female to work with. She is my girl I call Mandy II, a Nt Ch with 3 wins to Gr Nt. In other hands she would be a Gr Nt and have a bunch of PKC money won, but she lives in NJ and belongs to me. She is a powerful tree dog and after she weans this litter I hope to get her finished to Gr Nt and possibly get her PKC hunted… I hope you have as much good fortune with your pups as I did with mine. I sincerely believe Banjo III would have made a greater contribution to the redbone breed had he lived as would his son Jon Henry and also Buddy, a littermate to Jon Henry which was sold to Preston Owens then to Wayne O'Mary. And before Buddies demise was bred and produced Gr Nt O'Mary's Hammer… So you see my friend. You have bred your gyp to a line of coondogs that although have had short lives and limited offspring produced. Have the ability to produce top quality coondogs. Soon you will start to see pups off Mandy II and Freak hit the hunts and other Banjo III crosses and I would like to say, " People look out." Good luck trying to buy one because they will likely not be for sale. Lucas

"The One" is still to be seen. This line has PLENTY to contribute, but it doesn't seem capable of doing it alone........

Could this be "The One"? I injected a little T-Top to see if that would help. She is only 8 mos old but is already "true to form". Here she is split treed 20 yds from Boone on the first night that I have taken her out.

Talking Richard...

If she stays in your hands she doesn't stand a chance. LOL

Ramon, I know, she will never get hunted by herself. I just have too many. I am looking for someone now to help out.
