Jet and I will be at Holmesville, Ohio this week. Jet will be collected and semen stored in West Virginia if everything goes as planned. We are starting to promote Jet again in some hunts and he is ALL COON DOG..

I'm pretty easy to work with and I don't care to travel to get him bred to the right females.. With the limited amount of pups he has on the ground, he is proving to be a great reproducer.. He already has multiple pups that is titled and most are still young!!

It doesn't get much better than this cross, Mark.

I'm just trying to give Jet the exposure that he deserves. His pups are showing what he can do for a breeding program, I'm just driving the miles to make these crosses happen. I just hope he isn't too old or nothing happens to him before people see he is a great asset to the breed.

Due to the lying, back stabbing, and nose curling that is currently going on, Jet is currently off the public market as a stud dog. I will not have any part of working with people who stoop to these levels no matter how good of a female, number of people in your "click" or the amount of money you have..

Jet will be bred to select females as I see fit from reputable people with like minded goals to improve the redbone breed and work with others to do so.

If you are truly interested, call me.. I have no problem telling you to your face or on the phone if I feel you are worthy of breeding to any of my dogs..

Hope to see everyone again at the next big hunt..

Welcome to the Stud Dog World. You have to have some awfully thick skin to deal with the general public whether you have a stud dog, brood female or just selling pups. Now you see why people sell their good stud dogs. Hang in there and don't get too discouraged. Fifty per cent of the people are all right. The other fifty per cent just don't know what they want.

That is the exact reason

I have never publicly offered a dog a stud. Eliminates a lot of tire kickers. I just don't have the time to discuss for hours about what such and such cross will do and then never hear from them again.

Yep......been there done that. You will find Eric......most people that promise they are calling you back......never had the intention of calling you back. I don't wait on people anymore. When they call me and tell me they are an hour away.......I make sure I'm home. Outside of that, I don't believe people are telling me the truth. Just had one two weeks ago......the man said he was calling me back on a Friday and set up the time to get his female here on Saturday.......did I change my plans....nope.......did he call or show up.....nope. Not even a courtesy call. Heck...I've seen folks advertise they were going to breed a female to Haze on the internet without even contacting me.....then when they did call, want me to release a straw of semen because they didn't want to drive to my house.....but it was the same distance to nevergone. Nothing surprises me anymore.....that's why I don't wait on people or trust them.

Sad to say.....there has only been a handful of folks in the last 7 years of advertising Haze that I would say were honest folks. And that my friend is pitiful. I understand why you are frustrated.

You will learn who to trust and who not to and who has your back and who is about to stab it. The stud biz is tough and it can take a toll on your personal life and marriage if you allow it. Been there and done that!

Stay the course and keep breeding those good females. I know we have a good one out of Jet that we can't wait to get back in the woods. Maybe the best cross since Jet's litter itself.

lol Thanks for the tips and yes, I know the stud dog world is tough.. That has nothing to do with this really though.. I guess I'm just hard headed but I'm not going anywhere..

But to answer a few questions that seem to come up almost daily..

#1 Jet and Cloud is here to stay, and NO.. they are not for sale lol.. Neither is Chicken Foot lol.. I've been broke all my life, why would I need anyone else's money.... So don't call up with the stupid comment that everything is for sale, just a matter of how much.. cause that's where two fools will meet.. You for thinking money talks and me for turning down that kind of money for a dog......

#2, No, I'm not done buying dogs.. I'm eyeballing another calf or two to get the third and final piece of this little puzzle I have going on here lol.. Only a select few and the owner of him will know who he is until I buy him or get turned down by the owner one.. But heck, what do I know about breeding poodles.. After this happens, I will be in the market for the 3rd grand nite female to buy.. and No, I'm not telling what the second one is lol.. that was the deal when I bought her is to keep my mouth shut lol..

#3.. I have no pups for sale at this time.. Even though An unnamed little girl, "LiL Miss Kick'en Chicken" aka turkey and "Duh Red Rooster" are already in the basket.. Literately, in a Laundry basket at my feet, so the future generations of poodles are already on the ground... They all have a home.. HERE.. Next is the Jet pups.. The first 5 litters or so is already spoken for lol... I think I have 31 names on the list for his pups..

#4, I have no problem speaking my mind on here, on the phone, or face to face... I would expect the same from someone else.. If you have any further inquiry, pm me, call me, or come see me at the next hunt..

Lastly, I'd like to thank everyone that introduced themselves to me and my family last weekend. We had a lot of fun and feel we met a lot of nice people! We are looking forward to the next hunt and meeting many more people of this great breed...

Wade, I'm doing ok, Thanks for everyone's offers to help and good wishes... We'll be around, just moving a little slower..

It just knocked me out of hunting for a while.. and some lifestyle changes are ahead. I had plans on hunting at U.S. days and Autumn Oaks but that's out now.. Maybe next year.

Thanks again for all the ones that keep calling to check on me! For the ones that are still wondering what happened...

Thursday night I was rushed to the Emergency room at our local hospital for chest pains.. I was then transferred to a larger hospital and by 10:30 Friday morning, I was laying flat of my back recovering from having a stent inserted into the main artery that goes to the front side of my heart..

The Dr. called it a "Widow Maker".. it was the exact same type of heart attack that my brother died from 7 1/2 years ago at the age of 33.. Now, at the age of 38, I'm lucky to be here too.. Guess he was watching over me and still has plans for me...

I have an awesome family, good friends, and a great set of doctors that's walking me through the recovery phase of this along with some lifestyle changes that is needed if I want to be around much longer..

At this time, I don't need or want anything other than a prayer or two if you don't mind and see fit.

Jet & Cloud is here for the ones that's truly interested in breeding to them..

Oh my goodness, Chick is a jinx. Almost the same thing happened to Jason last year. The stud dog business must really be a lot of pressure if it causes you to have a heart attack. I hope that you bounce back quickly. Once recovered, you should feel even better than before.

Sorry that happened Eric. Hope you get back to 100% quickly. I know a great diet if you're interested. It's not easy and has exercise with it. But can really change your life. I've lost 18 pounds since June 15. I feel 10 years younger already.

Richard, I've had a few problems but I'm headed in the right direction now I think..

Jet is still here for the ones that really want to breed to him..

Cloud is in Missouri for a couple weeks to breed a nice female.. If anyone has a good female coming in heat out that way, give me a call and we'll work something out..
