I had to put her down this morning. Whether the vet was right or wrong, I don't know, but I think that either way the damage to the kidneys was done before I took her to have her checked out the first time.
She went downhill very fast. By Saturday she was barely eating, and wouldn't take meds. I gave her one shot of penicillin, but I could tell she was losing the fight. She could hardly move and I just couldn't see her hurt anymore.

Man, I don't know how much more i can deal with... The grass hasnt even grown over the grave of my best hound Bailey that got killed by a car last year and now I have another dog to bury....
