-- Belt vs cap light (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928407606)

K-Light BeaKon convertible. Very bright, lightweight, and comes with a long cord so you can use it as a belt light if that's what you prefer. You get the best of both worlds. I love mine both ways but prefer it as a cap light.

Caplight

So long as it is balanced, hard to beat em. No cords to get hooked on branches, etc. Currently use the Moonshiner Revenuer HO .. Balanced and fits my head well... I really like the feel of it on my head. There are several high quality lights out there so I'm sure you will find one that works well for you.

I've tried the cap light but I went back to a belt light. They seem to fall off my head because of the battery pack. Reaching behind your head doesn't seem natural to adjust the brightness. I have a bad shoulder so that's one reason too. Guess I'm to old to change. Most company will give a 30 trial. That's what I did and went back to a belt. Good luck.

The BeaKon has the switch on the head of the light not the battery pack. One of the many things I like about it
