English Days

My weekend was bittersweet at English Days. Shadow won his cast Friday night tying him for 10th and I lost the coin toss, :-(. Shadow is two and a half years old and has won a cast at Winter Classic, Heartland Classic and English Days. This young male has so much potential and I am unable to hunt him up like he needs, so he was sold. Shadow went to Kentucky to some very nice people. That can hunt Shadow like he needs to be and will give him a great home. I feel honored to be part of that dogs life and want to thank Brandon and Alex from Hard Hittin' English for giving me the opportunity to own him. I look forward to seeing and reading about Shadow in the future and know I will have a pup out of him one day.

I never really looked deep into Shadows pedigree until today.
I'll have to say I like the looks of it ! How can u go wrong with the following >

Not to mention he's a heck of a good lookin hound !

Shadows momma was no slouch. I would put her up against any of those you mentioned. I've seen her beat some of the bigger named males of today. But I'm a little biased she's buried in my back yard

Put Joy in first HTX last night and she passed, no doubt that she would.
Since I have owned her she has been 90%, I know that probably is not reality but it makes a guy sure feel good.

Candy

I did not Doug, she did her part....handler error!, got beat by 25 points. She is now a show champion. I hope to finish her in the spring before the leaves start.

Candy's Solo Bobcat

Candy is turning into a real nice versatile hound. Headed up to Northern Wisconsin and ran Bobcats, third time she has ever been on them and broke off from the pack and treed a solo. She did a nice job! Will be cat hunting for the rest of the month and when it gets warmer we switch back to coon.
