Grayson Paul

Grayson & his grandson come to our club I'm Moundsville Wv almost every hunt we have, the grandson handles the hounds. When they come I would rather sit at the club all night & listen to the stories & knowledge that this man knows about the bluetick breed so my vote goes to him hands down!!

Thumbs up Grayson Paul

I believe my Friend Dave Sellers said it all so I will just go with his statement. GRAYSON PAUL. I also want to make mention of my good friend Jack Smith. Jack is one of the very best but I just read about him in an old coonhound bloodlines the other night. I enjoy going back to re-visit the old bloodlines and stories every once in a while. I really enjoyed the one on Jack Smith. Looking forward to reading about Grayson. Dave Woofter Bristol Ridge Kennels,Ohio

Paul Currie

Paul Currie with the solid northern kennels. As far as the competition world on this side of the border he put the blues in the winners circle. Several generations of grandnite blues burried at his old homestead, all bred, raised, and trained by him. And he provided the foundation for alot of part time coonhunters like me to carry on with, both in dogs bloodlines and advice. When i pick his brain hed give his opinion but hed always end in sayin "but ya gota paddle yur own canoe!"

He dont hit the scene like he once did but im sure i could stir up enuff out of him to make a good read.

As far as Bluetick guys go I would like to see an article done on my old friend Stub Dougherty of Madelia, MN. He has been gone for almost a decade now but he was a died in the wool Bluetick man and always had some good ones in his kennel.

I know he has been featured before, but I never get tired of reading stories from and about Dave Dean. He isn't going to be around forever and in my opinion no man has ever come close to doing for the Bluetick breed what he did.

GRAYSON PAUL

He has forgotten more about Blueticks than most of us will ever know!!

Lawrance Going's

He's been at it a long time!

I'd like to see a regional breakup and feature a bluticker from the north south east and west and Midwest.
Have visited w Grayson he'd be a good candidate for that region.
Terry Tucker could certainly fill a page or two on Boomer and his offspring. In the current category.
A feature on Piazon and pups would also be info that a lot of folks might not be aware of.
The Smiths from the South hard to not recognize the success of Razor ridge kennels they are on to something.
Matt/John/Jeremy ? Second in the world doesn't happen all the time.
That's my 2 cents.

Paul and Tim vaughn

My vote would go to Paul and Tim Vaughn . they have bred a lot of good hounds and both been coon hunting since they were young kids and Paul is 75 and still hunting strong and they both have helped many new comers get started in the sport and I don't mean just sold them a dog .

Dennis Upson. His line of blue dogs have done more for the big game hunter than any line of blue dogs in the last twenty years.
Adios,
Gary

Paul and Tim Vaughn

I would like to see Paul and Tim featured. Paul started competition hunting in 1955 and Tim soon after. With over 50 years of experience, the combined knowledge these two brothers have to share would be awesome for the readers. Small breeders as well as some large breeders, such as Dave Dean, have incorporated Mad Dog blood lines into their kennels. God is good! Doug Linn

Roger Bloxham, super nice Guy and has been raising nice quality hounds since Moses stepped off the arc. Owl Creek Kennels in Keota, Oklahoma.

Also, up and coming, Dustin (Duck) Cripps from Heavener, Oklahoma! All he's been doing around here is winning with his CJ dog. And his little Molly female.
