Thanks Jeff. This one was killed behind an old ladys house. She had been feeding it for years. Or should I say it had been stealing her cats food for years. I have never in my life seen one this big. I have been hunting 32+ years here in ohio and cant say I have seen one even close to this. I hope he passed on his dna because I will be killing a few more back there.

Here is a big one we got last Monday. Had a couple friends up from West Virginia and it was the biggest they had seen in a long time. We had a couple small ones, two at 18, one at 20 , and this one was 26#.

My biggest was 56 1/2 inches from nose to tip of tail. Skinned it in the woods. Should have carried back to the truck and weighed it. Big old boar.

Minnesota grows some of the largest coon in North America and 37 lbs is a good sized coon no matter what. Anyone ever see Merold Mohni's coon hide? His bear dogs killed it one night in an old shed. It was still dragging the ground when I held it up at shoulder height and I'm 6'1". Moon said it was something over 50 lbs. I can't remember the exact weight. It was in the early '90s.

As mean as a coon can get...I think I'd stay out of those woods!!!! You'd have to mount one on a bear form.

No Idea how much it weighed.
