Pete, some boys in La. Had him hunting him for my son-n- law, a neighbor shot and killed him when he got out of his pen and tore into his trash, I had a young dog here off him that was making a nice hound, tree dog that would stay treed with meat, I had planned on putting in the hunts this year and finish him out, Then breed one of my grnt MadDog females to him as an out cross, a rattle snake bit and killed him here in my yard one night about 2 months ago, he was going to be the real deal, A friend of mine had a litter mate to him he sold as a started dog, he told me the pup is now a Ntch.... Gerald

Good thread Lance!

I got sick of the animosity that seemed ever present on here. You'd share some experience, tried & true & some piss ant always has'ta attack ya before its said & done. Every thread, no matter what seemed to turn into a "My mutts better than yours" thing.

Also having stud dogs shoved down our throats on about everything whether asked for or not.

I learned 90% of what lil I know from those before me &, Yes, even those after me. I have gained some valuable friendship's & knowledge here. Always an educator at heart myself, just what seems like I should do I guess?

I'm a Face booker. You just can't imagine the array of folks you get hooked up with on there from all over the world if ya want. I get oodles of messages a day from people with questions about there hounds from health questions to correcting an issue, genetics & everything in between. I enjoy sharin & helpin some skip a few speed bumps. Ironically I have an enormous following of youth hunters & that's truly what its all about for me. I get as excited after there dog done this or that that I might as well be with'um.

The puppy "Firsts" are the ones that really tickle my fancy & the "Firsts" for the houndsperson. You might be surprised by the enormous number of young women hunters out there. Has restored faith in the future of "OUR" sport in my eye's.
