TODAYS UPDATE ON BUB......I JUST GOT HOME FOR A BIT TO LET FAITH TAKE A NAP......WE HAVE BEEN WITH BUB SINCE EARLY THIS MORNING.......YES GOD IS AMAZING!!!!.......TODAY BUB ONCE AGAIN TRIED TALKING TO US....HE SAID "KORA IS PRETTY"......(THAT IS HIS BABY FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DONT KNOW).......I TOLD HIM I LOVE HIM ....HE SAID "LOVE U 2".....I HAD HIM LOOK AT FAITH AND I TOLD HIM SHE WAS PRETTY AND HE REPLIED...."PRETTY".......HE ALSO DID EVERYTHING ON COMMAND THAT Ken Fugate ASK HIM TO .....TRIED TO PULL HIMSELF UP IN BED......AND SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST.....HE HAD A LITTLE TASTE OF DQ AND KEEBLER M&M CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES.......DAD GAVE HIM A FRENCH FRY AND TOLD HIM IF HE WANTED IT HE HAD TO TAKE IT....HE TOOK THE FRY AND SLOWLY PUT IT UP TO HIS MOUTH AND OPENED HIS MOUTH WIDE OPEN.......NEXT WAS THE DRINK OF POP......WE GAVE HIM THE STRAW AND PUT IT UP TO HIS MOUTH ........NOT THINKING HE WOULD BE ABLE TO BUT THE NEXT THING WE KNEW THAT POP HIT THE TOP OF HIS STRAW AND HE GOT A LITTLE TASTE.....AND FOR DESSERT HE WANTED ONE OF FAITH'S COOKIES SO AGAIN HE TRIED TO EAT IT.......I LET HIM TOUCH IT TO HIS TONGUE SO HE COULD GET THE SWEET FLAVOR FROM IT AND HE LOVED IT....HE CANNOT BE FED OR HAVE ACTUAL THINGS TO DRINK YET BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO DO A SWALLOW TEST 1ST TO BE SURE THAT REFLEX IS WORKING PROPERLY BUT WE WERE SO GLAD TO SEE THAT HE HAS THE URGE AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN 2 DAYS SINCE HE HAS BEEN AWAKE.......DONT FORGET TO THANK GOD TODAY FOR YOUR BLESSINGS......I KNOW I HAVE TALKED HIS EAR OFF THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS!....GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Joyce, Great news. I do praise God for His Blessings upon us all. Answered prayer for Bub is a gift that humbles me and makes me really stop and give God Praise.

Tell Bub that Timmy and I cant wait to see him at a hunt some where and catch up on the past year.

We allways had a great time when we drew out together at the hunts.

I don't know bub good but my dad dean really thinks high of them. I've spoken to bub several times and always left with the same impression great person. It brings tears of joy to me that he is recovering. I remember seeing him pull in on a motorcycle at a hunt I was at. Anyhow tell him Tim bolden saids hi and get better soon. I will be praying for him.

AWE SOME!

God IS AWESOME! Been praying since this happened and we are thrilled! Bob and I met Mackie, SrBriefly at Autumn Oaks one yr when we were with Russ Downing(TwoToes). People who know me know I got to know Russ because I am mildly brain injured and Russ had some questions about how to live with limitations. Somehow Russ seemed to take off and never let it keep him down and...I suspect Mackie Jr will do the SAME! THis news kinda gives us a clue he will be going full speed ahead! YAY! Not sure how to put it any other way but YAY! I will admit it brought some tears of joy here!
God Bless you all in the Manns family! Your FAITH had helped you through what must have been the darkest time, especially as PARENTS......
