Bart was a hard going dog 100 type strike honest or not, got treed quick, good about having coons, action packed. After he bred the 1st female he was done as a top notch competitor. He loved the women.
Luke started quick, a lot like Bart action, junky, made some long nights if coon didn't,t move. He had some independence, and tree power, sold when he was still young because of his mouth. I think my brother called him Squealer.

Biggest asset Bart had was Heart. My brother put most of the wins on him. He had a buddy (Steve) that road with him on almost all the casts. Thinking back Steve hardly ever got to come back to the clubhouse after the hunt because He was left chasing Bart going thru the country or treed somewhere deep while Tom would bring the scorecard back.

David,i cant remember exactly,but i wikl try and find out.
If Brett still has his messages on his phone.He can pull up the date we went hunting.I checked my messages and didnt go back that far
or Brett text from another phone. It was the night we had the worst snow of the year.We hunted in a blizzard and saw a coon in a den first drip 6/10 ths in about 5 min. I mean BLIZZARD
Couldnt beleive them boys came down and hunted in that crap with me

I drew out with Bart at B&T days one year. He was nice. I believe he won 2 of three nights that year and could have won the 3 rd had we had a quality judge. He was very nice that night.

Yes David,Gene said she was a nice female.Sometimes it is hard to remember all the dogs he tells me about.

Sonny sounds like he did well. There is another old dog in Bears ped. Black Juice. Yall know anything about Juice ?

I believe I hunted with Brandy one night. Wasn't she a littermate to Typhon? Got to see him go one night, also.

Blaine Vance owned GrNtCh flippos lay em Lacy she was out of Bart and miss ruby. She was one of the nicest females of any color I ever seen go. She had more go power by herself than any dog I had ever seen. Then Blaine bought GrNtCh lay em up Sugar out of luke and chigger and after 60 nights straight in the woods by herself she was a coon treeing machine that would go miles to do it if she had to. Now he has lay em up Big J out of Rany brake drifter and Sugar that is a spitting image of Lacy. After reading this about Bart I see where these females got all this drive.

Yes nitech little drifter he is out of Lacy and drifter but he cant produce pups so he was never finished to a GrNtCh. He had two littermate sisters that got stolen. I just spoke with Blaine on the phone and speaks highly of the Bart bred hounds. He has big j bred to solo rite now these should be some hard hunters

Bart was nice but other than the Ruby cross he never reproduced as well as he should.

There were three living pups out of my nite ch Two Time Sweetwater Sioux that I bred to Bart. One never got a chance, one made Nite Ch. Mine made Gr Nite and was one of the best I've ever had. All three were males.

Wally is out or Rambler. In my opinion Ramblers breeding has more hunt, drive than any dog out there, and Wally is backing it up. I hope to get something bred to him. Oh yeah Harlen is a pretty good guy.

Yea his name was Gage. Extremely accurate, bawl on track, chop on tree. And yes he was hard going. Wasn't one to ever check in.
