Bluetickers sure do get funny over nothing its almost like the breed is separate In certain ways like we're not pulling as a team for a world champion. If i had a stud dog I would care less what anyone asked about him on here cause if their was a problem w him and the way he was reproducing he wouldn't be on here or for stud. Sounds like there is not so I guess my question was answered thanks to all answered like a true houndsman. Norm

Pretty sure a true houndsman would have picked up the phone!

Paizon

Paizon has 5 nt Ch and 5 GN. 129 pups. As of December anyway He is number 7 for the month of February I believe right at 8 % alot of the pups he has are 2 yrs and just showing up in the hunts! I have one myself that branded out at 2yrs and 11 days old. Fast head up track dog that will sit split 10 ft apart all night! Paizon is throwing some very nice hounds and anyone with a nice female should keep him in mind I have hunted with pai he had 2 looking down every tree and did it in style! Mike is a great guy to deal with and just a plain good honest houndsman!

just for those that

Dont know. My last young dog that left here to be a stud dog was the Airplane dog witch is double bred bingo and one of the bingo's was the dancer dog. I learned alot about this style of dog when i raised him or when i started the dancers's son dog. People have said that the Airplane could be touchy on the tree. Well fact is he was the same type of bug eyed tree dog that when he got in the zone of treeing belly up and u was to startle him, but he didnt want to stop treeing to fight he just wanted to be undisturbed in his zone on the tree. U could have three tree dogs on his tree and if they wanted same as what he wanted all was good. What he wanted was his spot on the bark to just get in the zone. Around here if a dog dont have that, this is my tree I just want this side of the bark where the coon went up they get pushed around by the white dogs. Well i guess i cant beat em join em. Their was always rumors of this line of dogs being rough. Well i guess i was the one that just had to ask about the piazon pups. Well if there was any doubt in ur head about his pups being rough this thread should of cleaned that up. Being a little rough has to be there to compete in the big hunts. A lot goes on in there before we get to the tree. Agreed. Thanks Norm

OK NO more mean nasty posts. I think every one got the message, No more face barking or some one will get scratched!!! Like it or not Norm does have a knack with young dogs and picking the right crosses. I think every one invalved will handle something like this Diff. in the future. I for one would like to see the best of the best reproduce. I will predict right now that a BLUETICK WILL WIN the UKC world hunt within 3years and if we doent well then i will be wrong.( Maybe for the first time)

Being rough

I got one that has never fought at the tree just had enough sense to back up and let em fight but she has won in stiff competition all over the us. If they have sense and the owner has alittle too you can teach one to not blow up at the tree when a dog comes in and starts to push and use fang pressure. She aint light broke either. Rough dog needs a bullet between the eyes. Don't wont one to leave a tree but have enough sense to move away from where the coon climbed and stay out of trouble.

agreed but these type of bug eyed tree dogs with a little extra get in such a zone on the wood to the point a dog comes into the tree face barking, jacking the tree, chewing it startles em when a dog gets to rubing shoulders w em. not that their wanting to fight its just that their in the zone mode was broke. when airplane was younger u could wave ur hand passed his head and he would throw an instant triple chop. He would act like someone hit em with an electrical prod because it startled him.

We had I think the first NT.CH. out of Dancer and Clear River Pepper He was wired 440 I told Doug what every you do do not pet him at the tree. I mean eyes rolled back lips pulled back on the edge. If 2 dogs blew at each other just a little he would come crawling in like a truck hit him. For being a crasy classy tree dog he was so soft hearted. Now he did learn how to stay but they can be good tree dogs without any extra. I havent hunt with pizon for several years but he was very nice last time I hunted with him. Dizzie X Pison should be very independant pups. Mike she should be in any time(hope she holds off till end of month)

The Piazon and Candy cross should be a good one shouldn't let peoples differences stop a breeding from bettering the bluetick breed. jmo

I hated to click on this thread.....

But, after having read it I think it has actually been a very positive thread. (actually a good promotional post for Piazon)

Pretty risky throwing this "out there" on the world wide web though.

All of you out there just keep breeding these awesome blues, and put your differences aside.
