thanks guys as you said this should be a very nice cross that should work in most any kennel out there with a great pedigree as well, this cross should produce a lot of very nice coon hounds at an early age. garry

Shine picked up another win toward grand show tonight that makes 4 didn't enter the hunt 3 walkers that I know real well were entered that are mean as hell and shine isn't mean at all but he wont budge on a tree neither he just gives room. but these 3 have size and they will chase your dog down whip his ass and go back treeing before you can get there so im not going to put my pup in that kind of situation. figured ile just come home and hunt some pups tonight.

Ginger won class and breed in the show also.

thanks guys for your compliments and support, Brian now that you said that I forgot just how young he is he wont be 2 until august23 so heck if I can afford it ile see what I can do. I generally try to make one hunt one show a month.

Way to go Gary. Keep him going. This is the craziest thing I have everseen with these dogs. Im 46 I started coon hunting when I was 9. Thats alot of miles! I dont know why the pups are so much different than other lines. But if you ever need to take someone hunting with a good female from this line of dogs you know how to get ahold of me. At 9 months old when I got to hunt with shine there was not much diffrence in Reba and Shine. Fast to strike and could slide under tree like a pro even though their pups. Dave and I always had pups that started early and most litter's made better than average dogs. But we were always breeding for coondogs. Reba is the seventh generation of our line and were starting on the eighth. We have 3 dogs that we kept from the cross and there all going to be nice, not meadeoker but above average dogs. We have a young male thats coming right along. If I was someone looking for a stud for a female I would seriouly take a look at the pups and grand pups from the pepper and moonlight kate cross. They crossed with our dogs really well. Let me now if you ever need a good reference, I never mind talking about the dogs that deserve to be talked about. It been a long road since we started in 1986. Talk to ya later..... Gary
