Sunday:Windy. Snow likely in the morning...Then a chance of snow in the afternoon. Patchy blowing and drifting snow in the morning...Then blowing and drifting snow in the afternoon. Snow accumulation less than one half inch. Highs around 10. Temperatures falling to zero to 5 above in the afternoon. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts to around 35 mph increasing to northwest 25 to 30 mph with gusts to around 45 mph in the afternoon. Chance of snow 70 percent. Lowest wind chill readings around 20 below in the afternoon.
Sunday Night: Much colder. Windy. Decreasing clouds. Blowing and drifting snow in the evening. Lows around 25 below. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph Decreasing to 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Lowest wind chill readings around 50 below after midnight.
Monday: Much colder. Partly cloudy. Highs around 13 below. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph. Lowest wind chill readings around 50 below in the morning.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows around 27 below.

Next 3 days here, about the same forecast as we have had since the second week of Dec. Also over 2 ft. of snow.

The wind just didn't want to let up for me to go. By 8 when I flipped a OG butt out the back door & snow was hitting me in the face, I knew it was a wise decision to just throw another log in the stove. Sounds brutal until at least Wed. now. Can't believe it can be warmer in Alaska than Atlanta or Austin was this morning.

Ya, Iron Bridge, Brice has went out some nights when I told him things wouldn't be moving much. 20/40 years ago I did the same thing, but NOT anymore!!!!

Tell dad, they'll never want to go hunting again, if he makes "house" dogs out of them. Take care, Ron.

Well with all this cold weather I think I am seriously thinking of selling all the hounds and get me a good set of golf clubs..

Wow a complete blizzard. Was gonna go watch the Royal Rumble and had to turn around cause I couldn't see.

-15 degrees, -30 with wind chill, 30 mph winds gusting up to 50 mph winds. They pulled all the DOT trucks and have a tow ban on right now.

I made 3 trees and saw 3 coons.......... LOL

it warm up into the high 30s here yesterday evening at 6 this moroning temps start droping suppose to keep droping low of -7 tonite and dangerous windchills tonite into tommoro think it's wensday suppouse to get up in the high 30s sunday suppose to get 40 degrees im ready for it to get warm and stay warm till spring

just when you thought it was enough we get this winter storm last night and most the day today ...thinking I need to get a partner down south so the dogs can get hunted instead of sitting in the dog house for months while it looks like the winter tundra outside

Just can't believe the wind could blow so hard last night. And cold temps to go with it again. I do think there is less snow in my yard today than last night. Spoon, I think it was headed your way when it left!!! Probably all collected in road ditch west of your house!! Not gonna be above zero for a couple days AGAIN. Take care, Ron.

After reading all these posts about the weather yall have been having up North I feel like a loser about complaining about our weather down here. I hate its been rough for yall up there, but its been rough for me down here this season also. We havent had any snow but we have had cold nights and the dang wind has been blowing bad. Right now its 58 degrees outside but it suppose to get cold again after today. Im gonna take advantage of the weather tonight and turn em lose and hope we see some fur tonight!

Went from a high of 60 yesterday to a high of 18 today, this up and down crap sucks but at least we aren't up to our butt's in snow. Feel for you buried up folks.

At my house in MN. at noon it's -15, BUT the sun is shinning. Don't know what the wind chill is. IT'S COLD. Trying to blow the snow out of my dog pen it's about 5 ft. deep along one side. Pen is 60 ft. long on west side and been blowing snow most of the morning so I can let the dogs back out. Snow is almost to the top of the 6 ft. fence. We had 5 inches of snow Sat. night and 25 to 45 NW winds all day Sunday. County road is still blocked so can't go anywhere anyway, might as well try clean up pen and yard. Going to be a long day only have a 30" walk behind blower.

Its been colder than a well diggers tail here in the deep.south this yr to. Hunted the other night and it 13. That's to cold for us. Ain't nothing here use to that. NOW some are predicting a major winter weather event for us. I've saw people saying snow all the way to Florida. Might even be freezing rain in savannah Ga. This will cripple the southern parts of Ga,Sc,Bama and northern Fla. Hope it don't happen. Maybe just a cool rain event.
