Used the Ultra for the first time last night, very nice light!! No coon, but with this light on 4 can't image any issue shining the tallest of trees. The light is just under the brightness of my FatMaxx, but the spot is larger and the halo much more even.......the Ultra seemed to let me get the whole tree shined faster. I played with both lights while I was out there listening to my closed mouth curs do nothing. Did most my walking with the light on 1, the red will be great this summer as it really floods the area close to you. The red also does a great job of "glowing" the whole tree, should really pick up peekers. Need to get a helmet liner, 23 and breezy was rough on the naked ear.

Tried my new Ultra out, Very nice light, didn't think I'd ever see one brighter than the Sunfire but side by side the Ultra is brighter and the spot is tighter, Like the idea of not having to worry about a pop cover lens again too.

Lights

Got the lights Friday, and my boys used them last nite. The word is, "they are bright" and they are very happy with the new lights. The ultra showed up this mourning, got it on charge, so i can take it out tonite for a trial run, pretty happy with the design of the ultra. Now i gotta wait till dark, the room closet isn't dark enough, looking forward to using these lights, thanks Dexter.

The light is bright, light weight, has the colored led. I think it might be a little brighter than my sun fire.

Thanks everyone we put a lot of work into this light to make it what everyone wanted. All of the feedback has been positive and there has been a lot of it. The color is working really nice. That coupled with it being light weight and a white light that is extremely bright seems to be working out nicely for everyone. Thanks again.

got long cord version and used 2 nites now. blown away how awesome spot is and how brite on high. unreal dont matter how big a tree is you can see everything. this thing blows everyone out of the water that ive seen.

only complaints/suggestions i got are wouldnt mind a heavy duty quick clip so easy on/off for long cord. wish could order with double the battery life i would happilly pay for that!!!

anyway best light ive seen or used hands down and green is amazing also. plan on ordering a 2nd one for spare very soon. thanks for great product, matt.

Great I'm glad you like the light.

My concern with a quick disconnect is it wearing out. The lights that are on the market now with them are having to be replaced often. They also do not make the best connection in the world to carry high current. There is no room in the box for an L jack like on a regular box or belt light. It could be made in a regular box light. That would give more room and allow for the L jack. I have no idea as of right now what the cost would be. Also you know I recommend that you hunt on that light 4 or 5 nights before you charge it? It has more than enough burn time to hunt all night on unless you run it on high all the time. In which case you will degrade the led. I see a lot of guys wearing belt lights with there led head cranked on high all the time. In 3-4 months they are wondering why the light isn't as bright as it used to be.

10-4, i dont shine high unless really checking tree. really like the green and walk with that most the time. like i said love the light and its gonna get tested hard this year. wasnt sure bout bottom being colored led but glad it is as white is killer spot. you got it right for sure.

No it want i was refering to the white. The color is low current.
