here in illinios coon seem to be plentiful even with poachers killing them by the hundreds!!! 1 guy has killed 600 off side by sidesmakes me ill!!!! we have treed around 135 since season started

huntn been hard down here this year also. you gotta cover a lot of ground it seems to get one treed. the coons are still there we see em on trail cameras on feeders but hard to strike a wild track. I have wondered If they den up like a bear sometimes when there aint much food.
