I have hunted with pups from three of Jabo's litters and I have seen enough from those pups that I want some of that blood in my kennels

Just because a Female does not have the hunting title does not mean she doesn't hunt. I bred my female to Jabo and yes she has a show title and not a hunting title. But before we made the cross we took her and Jabo hunting together and treed coons. I just never pushed her in the nite hunts. Oh wait she was never entered in a nite hunt. I know 4 of the show title that Jabo has on his Pups are from my female and I know at least one pup is either a nite champion or very close to a nite champion. Two of the Pups died hunting. With that being said. Yes Jabo is a great reproducer and I would of loved to bred back to him or even Jack but I do not have the money for AI. I am proud that I bred to Jabo but I do not like the fact that because a female does not have a nite ch title on her does not mean she doesn't hunt.

I think all Brian was trying to say is that Jabo had a pretty good reproduction rate not matter what was bred. I don't think that he was intending to insult anyone or get anyone riled up.

And the truth is that Ellie and Pepper were the only two hunting females that he was bred to. Everything else was either show dogs or registered dogs that the owners were willing to breed.

here is what I have to say.......as I was only tryin to complement the mans dead dog ,I went about it the worst way I could have....I hope all the females owners that was bred to jabo will please forgive me for my thoughtless ,classles,downright stupid comments ,I have never even seen one of these females,and I am indeed very sorry for my words,i can only hope you will forgive me and my stupidity.....for most of my life my mouth has got me in trouble,so guys I have learned my lesson here...I just hope yall don't think im as stupid as my post would suggest.....I really did have good intentions ,in that I was just tryin to say the dog is reproducing but I hurt and disrespected a lot of people with my redneck words.....I am truly sorry...Brian Hurley

Brian I forgive you and I understand how words can sound wrong. Jabo was a wonderful hound. The best I have been to the woods with or I would never of choose him for me female. I really miss Jabo and know what he was doing and love hearing about how his pups are doing. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!
