well said it works the same way with my roosters and not all cross work the same but this cross with this pup worked great
When crosses are made here they have the natural ability, but don't think a man can bring any female here and produce the same quality of pups. Just like I can't just cross with the hottest stud going to get natural, hard going, kick dirt in your face and get treed with the meat a high % of the time type of pups.

Where are all these hard going top blue dogs at. I've been looking for a hard going top blue dog for a while. I need to be pointed in the right direction. I'm not talking about a litter that's on the way that will produce the right kind. I want one that is ready to compete with the winners. I here people say the walkers are slick treeing idiots but they seem to stay in the winners circle. The majority of blues I see will not get by their selves and hunt super hard. I hear about plenty of em but don't see a whole lot.

list
that is a list to be proud of terry. a lot of people talk a lot of crap on here but not many have a list winners out of there dog like that to back it up. pet old boomer and smile jmo joe
this pup will go out about four to five hundred yards he came from doug massengale his tom dog is the dad to my pup a good looking dude and i cant wait for one of my utchman females comes in i will use this dog even know he is just a pr dog and hope it works for me and they all turn out this way
Terry
As Joey said Terry very nice list that few can match. CONGRATULATIONS. Dave
DEC. list Bloodlines?
Back to coon tails. I guess I am looking for a natural, so I send them and wait for the pup to tree wild grease on a limb. 22 pairs of socks later I will have what I have. PUPS ability are normally over rated by me and a host of others, I just never learn.
Back to my point, we all want naturals BUT I want it on real wild coon.
PS, carefull I did not say pms.
Ever notice a handful of people next project is always something great? Really, Me think, they are setting the dog up for their next sale, maybe....
all i can say i am proud to have this pup he was easy i didnt have to go every night to get him started i didnt have to do anything he is just good one i guess im lucky from what everyone is saying and not everyone gets this lucky with the dogs they have it sounds like they dont make them like this every day thanks. guys now i know what i have and how hard it is to find this kind of pup
I have a question..... I NO Way do I want to affend anyone...
What is a reproducer????? I have seen several dogs, of different color, Blue, Red ,Black and White, Brindle, etc. That were Grand Nights, Night Champs etc, that ( I ) thought should be burried in shallow unmarked graves. I have seen several, of different color, that were just PR' that would beat the socks off some of the higher class dogs. I have seen some that maybe lack that little something extra, but tree coon consistently anyways. I have seen some that could not be beat on some nights, and other nights look like it was their first trip to the woods.
Seems to me what a reproducer is, may be viewed different by everyone's eye's. I'm not a breeder or a trainer, I know what I like to see in a dog, ( But that don't make me right ).
So I ask, What is a reproducer?

i have to ask these questions because i am new at this game well not real new have had coon hounds for a couple years this is the best pup i have seen out of all the people who hunts around here i am proud to have him and i love to here what all you old timers have to say a younger guy can learn alot from you guys and i want to here from you stright shooters that holds nothing back just tells it how it is. i hate to walk to a tree and c nothing in it so i want the best i can find or get my hands on and so far it is this pr dog and his off spring has done it for me i just dont see them getting any better than this if they r out there i would like to find them that is why i ask the question i did who has the best stud dog because i am looking and i want to make the blue dogs better i want them to win and be talked about like all the other dogs out there i dont want to just breed anything i want coon hounds so i would love to talk to you call me. 870-715-7242
Hounds
Bauer. The best thing to keep in mind is to keep an open mind. Everybody that has a dog has the best dog. It should be this way. People are naturally going to be proud of there dog. You stated your new at this. An eight month old pup is a long way from being a coondog. He is going to have a lot of ups and downs. Don't be discouraged. You have to be willing and accept the fact that you just have to start over and move on. Do not get to caught up in the bragging that goes on with this board. There are folks that run the comp circuit and have proof in wins. There are folks that don't run the comp circuit that have proof from true dog men. Then there are folks that can't see past there lead and tell everyone theirs is the best there is. Sometimes you have to weed through the bull. If your happy with what you are feeding that is all that matters.
BTW, that is definitely a nice list Terry.

Call
Bauerr I will call you some time and we will talk dogs if you want. There's nothing like a good pup and the woods to put a smile on a Man's face. I still feel my heart race when a young hound opens for the first time and when he turns it over on the tree it's a great feeling and makes life good. What's your pup's name? Dave Phone # 1-740-342-4257
Major pain is what i am calling him he treed another last night in the snow for five months old not bad he left like a rocket to
Bauers question
who has the best stud dog on this page
i was woundering who has the best stud dog on this page and what im asking is if i had a good female what dog would use on this page because i really need to know what everyone thinks. i have heard the bullet dog is a good one. and i really dont want to hear from the owner of the dog i would like other people opp. because everyone will brag on the dog they have i want someone to brag on your dog for you.

I have bred twice, one of my finest females to Terry Tuckers Boomer dog and I can say he is a top reproducer of good hounds.
I hope no one thinks I am trying to promote Boomer for I am not. This is just my experience with crossing a female to him.

Good Advice
Bauerr I believe the ones that told you to go back to the Man you got your young dog off of gave you good advice. If it's what you like stay with it. At least you could talk to him and get his opinion on what direction he would take. I took some of the posts I put on here off as they really never answered your question and I think some have. Good Luck. Dave
