We turned loose first drop and Ruger struck about 50 yards from the truck ran it maybe another 50 to 75 yards thru thick crap and fell treed!!! Had 2 coon. Turned loose again he struck in about 120 yards and struggled on the track but got treed and had a den and bout the same on 3rd tree another den then it started raining so we quit.

Went for a short hunt tonight. We made 3 dump, 3 trees and seen 3 coons. Took Riptide and our 5 month old walker female. We shot 1 out for alittle pup training. And yes Max we are still saving a few of these sick coons for when you come down here and come hunting. Instead of killing all our coons for hide money we try to save alittle seed for the dogs for next hunt.

Max we hunted Jango and Star tonight we made 4 dumps. 1st dump the got in there about a mile and treed in the ground. 2nd dump treed a den about 400 yards. Dump 3 and 4 was in the same woods 2 more trees and 2 coons. We let Star have 1 coon tonight. We are still saving a few for when you guys come down.

Max a rough night, two dens, one slick and three coons and made four dumps and for that many dumps that is not good, too much walking also!

We made 4 dumps last night 3 coons and 1 slick tree on the river. Not a great night but not bad. We hunted riptide and a white dog that was wanting to be a blue dog. lol

Things pretty slow tonight, one den and one coon and we headed home. Hit some good spots and never hit another track. Boy this big front coming in will stir things up for a while! Calling for 3 to 6 inches around here.

We had a decent hunt took Skid and Bella treed a den a slick and 2 on the outside. Called it a night. Not too bad for a couple young hounds that don't see a whole lot of woods time! Lol

Yes Terry we do! We keep the Blue dogs because they are a pleasure to hunt, tree coons, don't run junk and can win a little, don't fight at the tree, have coons when they tree, secondly can use them to train any type of hound! Corey wants to hunt the Super Stakes hunt so we got two very well breed pups that we feel will meet our needs. We did not want someone else's rejects. No we are not color blind but the two Blue dogs we hunt do very good for us and have a home. The snow must be getting too you Terry! LOL!

Max the litter mate to Star got hit Friday night and had to be put down. The guy had just got her treeing with his old dog. He said she was running real good but had just started treeing, hard. He did not hunt her much until just here lately but she did take off quick when he did start hunting her. Thought I would let you and your dad know.

Hey Terry we converted another English guy over to Blue Dogs. I think he had a few come up missing!!!!!! We are heading north tomorrow and will be bringing one back with us for him. I told him don't feel bad as that is why many others don't hunt when there is no green on the trees! LOL! Let me know how that knee thing goes for you, my day is coming soon I hope!

No Bob cats lately but have seen several lately. There seems to be more and more all the time. Hoping for a season on them before long! LOL! Doing pretty good and you? Hitting the woods hard?

Went hunting up at Zeb's Friday night. Hunted with Clyde Murphy, David Thomas, Curtis Todd, Zeb Meyers, Max Duniphan Jr and Sr, my father Mark and myself and 1 guy I cant remember his name and I apologize. Alot of snow, treed a few coons and a good fellowship hunt. Made the last dump of the night with Max Duniphan Jr and Sr with Rugar and I had Riptide. Dogs split treed with the meat. Ended the night on a great note. I wanted to thank Zeb for having us up for a hunt with a bunch of great fellowship.

Riptide split with the meat.
