I know what your saying Dee. I don't have nowhere near the streak going that you did, but it was odd not to go on opening night!! I still blame your family for poisoning me with this thing called coonhuntin!! I will never forget when I was a kid, and depressed with my worthless red powers, your Dad said son I'm going to find you a dog!! He did just that, and I've been sick ever since!!! LOL!!!

Had a good hunt sundy nite treed o ne on the out sidet one den a slick the old grade dog snuck in and theed one the grand nite and nite xhamp came up short go figure

Treed 5 coon Joe see in the pic. Only one easy one Bell treed Ike treed 4 and he just fell treed on all of them.

Took my 14 month old Dreamer pup and my 5 yr old female last night...Pup treed 1 and a den, my female treed a den, then got into a corn field after a track and smoked it...She pushed it hard and fast and treed it quick...Pup was still in the field trying to work the track.

Hunted Squeak

Last nite I shot out 6 to him. He did tree slick again on a big ole apple tree loaded with yellow apples! Know one was at home on that tree. Last tree he made took just a bit over three minutes, not much track,just fell treed with two lookin down. I jumped in the truck and drove away from him to see how far I could here him when he was treeing. At 1.1 miles,I could just barely hear him. He hunts ss in the fall of 2014,maybe he'll be worthy of haulin him out. He'll turn 9 months old on the 14th of this month. Most of the nite,tracks seem to be older and coon were laid up in the big oaks for the most part!

Hunted one big section and kept recutting him. Back to the truck at 10:00 with these 4 and quit at 11:00

Yeah ole Queen lit the fire..... I hope this pup is ole Sam reincarnated..... Lol that would perk me up a bit!!!!

Joe, had the same luck here, it was raining good by the time we made it out. Made 2 den's it was windy and raining hard by the time we called it a nite. Snowing when we got home. Didn't see anything on the rds.

I would of rather been lookin at trees and snow than the onslaught of jicsters I was lookin at....but can't take my tugger in the brush ....lol

Its going to be around 26 degrees at dark and feel like 19 with the wind so I think I'll pass tonight. I'm sure I could run a few coon but when its that cold along with the wind it's not very enjoyable to me.

I took one 15 pounder in and got $10. That's the only coon I have shot out so far.

I sold the 8 I treed over the weekend Monday and the smalls brought $1-$3
The Biggest coon I had measured 34" and he only brought $12.
Not going to shoot out many this year. not worth the money to kill the coon. They will be back up one of these years.

We went for a few drops. Caught one on the ground on first drop. 2nd drop had a pretty nice track but a pack of coyotes attacked and my female quit and came in. Coon seem to be runnin a little

we turned 1 drop garmin said the dog went 7.30 miles treed on a den full of coon took about 2 hrs wished i had stayed on the couch even though we just sat in the truck and tried to keep within a mile of him
