That a boy T Felderman! I thought the only people that hide hunted in Iowa was people the hunted Blue dogs. Nice pictures nice looking hound. Keep up the good work.

todd

is that one of your nailor pups.

Posted by T Felderman on 11-13-2013 03:36 AM:

yeah Nailor x Agile pup. Long way from a coondog. I think it may be tough going with the moon coming up.

Both of us were kinda shakey on that bluff.

Good God, sure hope that was a disposable camera that you used Todd. Because I'm sure it broke after you used it. Or did you hire a tourist to take it?

Decent temperatures last night in NE IA. Was a great night to be out!!!
These is something special when you have a guy bragging about how great his comp dog is so you invite him along for a hunt on a full moon night with the ground covered in snow & his dog is den treeing & slick treeing & your little 40 lb. female puts up 5 singles with meat on hard hunted public land….bet he will be quite for a few days!Priceless... Lol

Glad you had a good night! Went to a new place last night didn't make it 100 yards and ended up in a brush pile the size of a small house. Cut loose again only to have the same thing in another brush pile. One den tree and no fur. Dog seemed to have "one of them nights." Was a great night to be out though!

BBBBRRRRRRRR

-19 below here in the valley this morning. Looks like our season is done for awhile. 6+" of new snow on top of 3" of icy old stuff will keep us shut down for awhile. Happy holidays to everyone & stay safe during your travels. Take care, Ron.

Treed 3 last night before it got below -10.

Then I woke up.

Posted by Rolin Blues on 12-24-2013 05:37 PM:

hunt!!!

That's as far away from the wood stove as I got too, Todd. Take care, Ron.

Todd's dogs must not like to get their feet wet in the snow.

Went out lastnight hit a den right off the first drop, cut again and managed to get one on the outside. Not to bad of a night for a short hunt.
