TEAM RAMBLER took a hit last night. Tom's Pontiac pup got killed on the road. Tom really liked him and had some high hopes for him. Sorry for your loss Tom. Looks like ears will have to fill the void now

Thanks guys, he might of been the best pup I ever had! But that might not be saying much!! The good thing about is, now that he's dead he will only get better!!! LOL! Merry Christmas!!

to here that Tom. I done been there too buddy. Pontiac was well on his way of making a coon dog for sure. Stick with your program. Rambler will sire you another one you will like.

Had a nice visit from Rick and JJ the other day, I enjoy talking to them guys they are good people, thanks guys for bringing that Rambler pup to me. you guys take your pup out yet?

Tom, I don't even know what to say! Losing those 2 young dogs in 3 days would be enough to make me call it a career, but you still have the producer of those pups in your kennel! Hopefully, you, Jake, and Mr. Horsely can make those crosses again!
Slammer is just now starting to tree a bit, but he's way behind some of his brothers and sisters! He just doesn't want to get his mouth open seems like. I think he just needs to get bit a little to get him really fired up! JMO Sorry for you loss Tom.

Thank you Bruce! It has been a tough pill to swallow, it has definitely taken some of the coon huntin fire out of me! But really I have no room to complain!!! If all I can find to pout about is 2 dogs getting hit on the road, it should serve as a reminder to me that the Lord has blessed me beyond measure!!!

Besides you are right! Jake sure gave me a pick up when he said He might breed Powder again. Plus Cookie is getting up there in age, but Travis and Dwayne just got a litter of pups out of Her and Shot. That should be a litter of coon treeers!! So who knows what may happen!

Ears last tree!! In this video he was split from Rambler. In the video you can't see him ,but you can hear him!! He was an outstanding pup for any age, but at 10 months he was special!! He was killed on the next drop! He was from the Rambler x Powder cross!!
