Will he charge you a stud fee to use the squirrel dog in your breeding program? How about outsiders like myself? I need a little more "tree" in my hounds. lol.

Out side the click

Squirrel hunters are a close group and don't breed outside the click so I doubt I will be able to help you in that area of your breeding program. Sorry.LOL! Dave

Talking Tom Jones

I don't know if you know Dave Woofter but in my opinion (means nothing!) the two of you have two of the most beautiful bluetick females I've ever seen pictures of. We wouldn't be completely off topic if you posted a picture of your Echo bred gyp and if Dave would post a picture of Lou, I think they both go back to Uchtman's Rebel somewhere in their pedigree. Please?

Not off topic at all. Uchtman's Rebel has influenced some "lines" for sure. I have my theories but can anyone say what they felt were the biggest things that Rebel contributed to the breed?

Rebel

I can't speak of Rebel's influence but Tom's female being heavily Echo bred (the original Double Springs Echo being out of Sexton's Blue Jimmy) and Dave's Lou female showing influence top and bottom from Sexton's Blue Jimmy is something that I find really interesting. Sexton's Jimmy was sired by Davis' Blue Scooter (Rebel X Sadie Mae). Thanks for posting a picture of your female Tom, hopefully Dave will put a picture of Lou on here.

Lou

Lou ( 18 months old ) and Zach Bowen

Lou at two years old with her pups being 4 weeks old at the time of picture. Thanks Driller for all the kind words you have said to the public about my two females that I like so much. Maggie Mae and Lou. Dave

This is where Lou looks the best.

Lou always trees hard and looks like this when you get to the tree.

Dave, your other female is the one that I think is a nice looking hound. She has a head like a male dog.

Maggie Mae
There you go Mac. This is the picture that put Maggie and Me on the Map.LOL! Maggie has a female pup in this littler that looks just like her. Dave P.S. I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE NOTED THAT MY FRIEND HERBIE HICKS TRAINED THESE TWO NICE FEMALES SO I COULD ENJOY THE FURITS OF HIS HARD WORK. Lou was only 16 months when I bought her so I took her on from there but she was a young coon dog by herself when I bought her. Dave

Maggie on the hard wood.

If you like a male head on a female here is a granddaughter of Uchtman's Zeb - she has a little bit of Albert influence.

Thanks man but I've got to sell a house to pay for some dog food. Little Jimmy is a pig. lmao.

I'll see what I can do. Pull Maggie Mae's thread back up on the pups for sale forum and I'll multi task. haha.

Maggie Mae was out of Jobe and a littermate to Ruger's mother. Correct? So same pedigree other than the mother's name on Ruger and Maggie Mae?

Scout's Kinzua Hannah

fastest blue dog I ever saw or owned was Hannah.. She was TC Jones Rattler and also showed Sherrrell's Peggy... She could run a coon faster than some Walker dogs could burn a deer up... She had some speed... That old Peggy was a reproducer and passed it on !!!

Thanks Tom. She's not as balanced as I'd like her to be yet but she's only 9 months old. I have high hopes for her.

Fastest litter of dogs that I was ever around as a whole came out of the CB x Sue cross. Didn't know that Peggy could have been where the extra speed came from.
I bred a Granddaughter of this cross to my Jimmy dog and I have a female pup from this cross that is super fast on her feet. Can't wait to get her in the brush and see what she is capable of.

Dagger and Amous

Dagger and Amous

Wayne this is Amous and Me His proud owner when he passed away. We buried him in my Wick hunting Jacket. Amous was out of Albert. Amous was an outstanding track dog that knew how to get a coon treed quick. Loved the dog. In this picture he's training the only Red dog that really tripped my Trigger. Dagger went on to make one fine dog but got cancer at 3 years old and I had to have him put to sleep. He was a good one in all areas. I cried that day. I really liked that young red dog. I have not found a Red dog with that kind of hunt since. Dave
