When Buck II won the world hunt there was a lsurge in his breeding schedule but if you look at his overall puppy numbers you'll see he didn't have a huge number of pups on the ground. His percentage of titled pups wasn't sky high either though. Jeff would tell you that didn't didn't click with certain strains. Where is Jeff when you need him? He'd be the best one to comment on this. IMO another world nt ch would only have have a big positive impact on the breed if he proved that he or I guess she was a good reproducer.

Just a question but if a b&t won the world wouldn't you want something out of its momma an daddy, seeing how they produced the world champ. Instead of wondering if the world champ is a reproducer, the parents proved it.

Just saying.

That stuff has little context in the jumpled up genetics of coondogs ... in theory , the next generation should be better and the one to breed ... he's got a deeper pedigree of good dogs and obviously a better combination of good genes .

But , every female is gonna click different with any given male ... you'd just have to know the dogs and hunt with the stock to know if a World Champion or his sire that made him were better for you .

If the sire had been given a chance to win and didn't have the Xfactor that his son did .... then it would hands down be the son .
