if this hunt happens and the winner is recognized for what he did, other studs will come along next year because they will want the credibility and recognition that goes with winnig against equals.

That's what we hoping for. Would like for it to be a annual event been talking to some companies for sponsors to make this a quality event and not a fly by night hunt.

I know of a few great dogs that have won alot in their day and will not hunt in a hunt again because they are burnt out. So does that mean they are not worth breeding too? I know of a couple if you jump them out of the box at a hunt they won't leave the truck in the woods. That is dogs that were pulled through rig and roll and they are not all that way. But, the question was asked why those big time winners and stud dogs won't be there. Then if you own a Great stud dog look at the cost of loosing one. Then to any of you have ever bred their stud dogs a Few times why don't you tell us what happens to them after a while. Most stud dogs turn aggressive after breeding alot of females. Like 90% of them so do you want to show that to the public? Don't get me wrong I would love to see some of the most advertised dogs in the country drop for a $25,000 purse or something like that but even then all will not come for those reasons.

IMO and it is my opinion cause I've never owned a stud are do I want to, but I know of many dogs that have been bred a lot some of them advertised and some not and they didn't turn mean. Just my opinion. If a man don't want to hunt his dog for any reason that's his business. We not expecting dogs like Trackman, Zeb3, are any of the BIG name studs. Were looking for the future BIG name stud. The dog with only about 40 are so pups on ground and wanting to make a name for bloodline. We want all the breeds to be represented. We not begging people to hunt there prize dogs, just giving them the opportunity for some free advertising for there stud and win a little $$$.
