-- A Human Shy Female to breed or not? (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928324430)
depends if she will stayed treed and just bite everything that try to steal her or move her off the tree.
I have seen this before, both were males, and they turned their fear of people into defense and were not people friendly, the 1 you could not worm or correct,as he got older he would eat you up,if he didn't want to load, he would growl, and was a handful, he made an outstanding coondog, sold for big money, but he had several homes along the way...Became pretty famous,
The other 1 I didn't know he was that way, I found out after I bred a female to him,he would bite anyone except his owner, I ended up with a pup just like him, he was makin a coondog until he started tryin to bite people, then he was culled.Several people told me I messed up, or I should of gave him to someone,I figured he might bite some kid, so I took care of the problem, you have to be able to handle a dog, and not worry he may harm someone, maybe a family member,This is a trait that can be passed on to offspring.

She knows all of my family, and close friends, she is not shy of any us, or my kids, because she has been introduced and knows and remembers these people.
Its only a complete stranger that she will shy around.
She is very out going and playfull around the house
