Should cross well on a lot of bloodlines..trace the top side back to flag and probably hunted the same woods that this dog is hunting..flag to rock to duchess to hawk to queen to smith...good luck with him!!

Thanks for the comment John, and your exactly right, i really hadn't thought about it but Shot was hunted in the woods right behind our club when Joe Parrish was hunting him for Kent, Smith has hunted those same woods many nights.

3 litters due in the next month from some of the best females in this area, we have been very fortunate to have these females bred

double flag ladyhawke was off of duchess..two time award for breeder of the year in pkc and also won the futurity..duchess was off of atkins hardrock who placed bout 6th in pkc world one year and rock was off of flag and a beanblossom female..timberhawk won quite a bit early then broke three vertebrae in his neck..The night he broke it finished the track he was running and was treeing with his head down ..he didn't live long after that..we still have a grand nite male here off of old hawk..cant get pups..Good luck with smith II.

Boys other than Karl I've probably hunted this dog more than anyone. He is a fine hound to walk behind. Very love able and the type of dog u hate to see leave your kennel. I've hunted about 2 times in 5 months due to personal issues, Smith is at the home of Mark Peterson, Mark is BY FAR, the hardest hunter in my area, and has a very low tolerance for dogs that don't perform at a high level, he has a litter of pups of Smith now and says he's got the rust knocked off him....Tommy Hooker also Bred his Gr.Nt. female to Smith, so if your looking a pup ot want to hunt with him, call and I'll arrange it

Finally getting back to hunting.....we've been hitting it pretty hard here lately....I also have a new number, first time it's changed in about 7 years. I have a few pups off different females I may let go, also Earl Hoggard has an extremely nice female bred now..... as always he's here for your inspection, especially now with the leaves off.....thanks for all the pms and calls while I was away

Thats a nice lookin hound! If he hunts anything like his dad hes a coon treeing machine for sure! Im still yet to hunt with a dog that drives a track faster than Smith did. Good luck with your hound!
