Reason I'm sending my money is Todd asked me to support and I will. Todd I know you Chris we have never met people may take you both wrong and me also but I like to know what's on my friends mind . Ok here goes my 2 cents lol...

I am all for moving it around but I do not think that it moving every year is a good thing. Each location should have the opportunity to have it for atleast 2 years. Nothing grows by pushing an organiztion like we are and then building up an event, holding the event and then evaluating the event and then moving the event.... There are going to be a lot to learn as we go and after every event the evaluation of what could have been done different and what was done right needs to be done. Growth is a fantastic thing and I want the association to be one of the best associations in UKC but we have to all work together for the one common goal in order for it to succeed.

We all as members of the SEBTA are working for the same goal and that is to have an association that shows and supports the love of our breed in the woods and on the bench in the southern part of the united states.

Needs to be moved around every yr to get more people interested. I voted Bama but any of those States will work. Alot has to do with the time of the yr. I would like to see it in the early Spring if it would be in the Deep South. Lots of Northern people would like to get out of the cold for a week-end of hunting in Jan/Feb or early Mar......Someone said something about having several hunts a yr. That would stimulate interest and membership.
You could establish a pts race for an overall champion and maybe opposite sex champion

Another thing I would like to see is that the whole membership votes. Not just the ones attending the hunt. If you pay dues you should get a vote.

Also the SEBTA should establish a Breed Standard and any dog winning SEBTA trophies/money needs to meet those standards.

Just some thought...

Good thoughts we have 3 more hunts starting after october and they will be a points race format and as far as votes yes i will have a person on my phone during the meeting so he can be able to hear all topics and also cast his vote and i am sure we can work that out with other people moveing around can be goods put it can also come with a price we will just have to becareful so to not leave anyone out. not sure about changeing hunt date but that will be up to the ass. thanks for your input hope i covered all of it for ya
