I would like to win and make the Tourn but a spade is a spade we are not good enough this year to matter, at least we are not Yelling we are great when its obvious we are average or below average.

My honest opinion the Big 10 will crap the bed in March this year. I live in Big country and none of the teams in the conference can play well anywhere other then at home. College ball is getting worse and worse in that aspect. Nobody can seem to get ready to play on the road.

Teams that I wouldn't want to play in the tourney.

Miami

Florida

Georgetown

New Mexico

LOL, I hope eye exams are reasonable in Big Ten country where you live because if you think the Big Ten won't make some noise come march, you really need an eye exam.

Perry I would say Indiana is a pretty solid squad but the rest have huge holes.

Most either can't shoot the ball or they don't have any presence down low.

Look at Illinois, they lost 6 of 7 and looked pathetic doing it. They have 2 players that can create. Paul and Richardson, that's it.

Minnesota has one good player and even he is inconsistent, Trevor Imbakwe. They have lost their last 2 by nearly 50 points.

Ohio State has 1 shooter in Thomas and no big man.

Michigan is as good as the 3 ball takes them. They hit 3s they are tough but once they face a hard nosed D they fall apart.

Indiana is pretty solid on offense but their defense is pretty lacking at times.

Mich State just flat can't shoot and Nix really is very very timid and inconsistent.

Wisconsin craps the bed every year in March because their style only works in Big 10 ball.

These are my honest takes.

IMO Indiana was the second best team in the country last year and everyone came back then Mich is the second youngest team in the Country so they will keep getting better and better and the played Indiana to within 3 at Indiana. You can tack on 10 points for Indiana playing at Indiana. Tom Izzo has one of the best teams he has had and since he has coached Mich St, he has never recruited a player that didn't get to go to a Final Four. He has a very good team and he is The Best in Game Coach in America.

He is a great coach but best team? Come on Perry he has nobody even close to Dramond Green.

You actually have a decent basketball team! They aren't going to make any kind of deep run in the tournament, but they aren't bad.

They whooped my team early in the year. Now if they were to play now I'd say Nova would crush them but hard to say.

Good ol John Calipari has done his recruiting! Kentucky has 5 McDonald all-Americans coming in for next year. I don't know what he's offering these high schoolers, but something stinks! This one and done deal is ruining one of the greatest sports, and Calipari is the main culprit to the decline, in my opinion!

Rather then actually have to coach and grow students and basketball players he takes the easy way out and promises a early high position draft. The young talented players flock to UK knowing they will only be there a year.

Must be hard being a fan having to learn a whole new squads names every season,,

You know at least I can be happy we missed out on Bazz Mohammad that went to UCLA and Hardaway that went to Mich. If we would have got them we may would have to suffer through another Final Four.

Reminder for what ? Guess I do. I hope we don't meet Indiana this March, that's for sure, but I'm sure everyone else feels the same way. Heck we are probably going to the NIT.

I can't imagine why you would miss those UK/IU games! Except for last years buzzer beater @ home, Kentucky has beaten Indiana like a red headed step-child! You might see an Indiana/Louisville match-up in late March, but not UK! The BIG is going to dominate the tourney this year. Not sure if a BIG team will win it all, but they will be tough on whoever they play throughout the tourney.

The win/ loss record is UK 32 Wins,IU 24 .So the red head, I don't think so.The first game was in 1903 .
Both high school all stars play each other every year.There is alot of tradition to Indiana and Kentucky basketball.
It's just a game I always enjoyed,lots of family down in KY.
The Big 10 is a tough place to play this year,but every dog has his day . This should be a good year to watch some basketball.
And pro ball sucks!

Zimmie, I agree, Indiana is basketball, in my opinion! I was always a big IU fan when Coach Knight was there. ......and probably the best all-time sports movie Hoosiers, that's Indiana basketball! I feel sorry for the Buckeyes when they play Indiana this weekend, especially after coming off a tough loss. Gonna be ugly.
