-- "pitching" A Dog (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928298525)
WHAT
Suprises me the most is how many people don't mind saying they are cheaters. I remember when and if you called a MAN a cheater or a lier the fight is on, now people openly say they cheat and even put it in print, man has time changed.

pitching means sending your dog to hunt.
when you have your dog by the collar and you are getting ready to send him hunting, you are "pitching" him.
I have heard this term for years. It is just sending him hunting. Lots of guys I hunt with just say...lets go up the road here where that cornfield is and pitch um in .

Its only cheating if you get caught. Yall remember that. LOL.. Anyhow my young dog likes to bark. No need to pitch her. She's gonna get that mouth open in a hurry. I didn't know I had so many close Coon after hunting this old silent hound all these yrs.
