I'm only 25 but I remember when...
I was able to coon hunt all night and never run into anyone.
I could do some work for the neighboring farmers and hunt anything I wanted anytime
I worked for $5 a day for my neighbor to chop out tobacco boy was he cheap but I learned respect for hard work that I carry into my adult life and my kids will be raised the same
I remember when everyone waved and knew everyone in our town( not always a good thing)
I remember when I could fish any pond on our road and people were happy to let ya
I remember when we didn't have GPS collars
I remember hunting with a mag lite
I remember when gas was a dollar a gallon
....
I remember when we as kids were not allowed INSIDE the house unless it was dark or hurt real bad....
I remember when you shook a MAN'S hand, you knew he was a MAN....
I remember my Ag teacher sharing his Lancaster tobacco with some of us young men.....
I remember when fist settled most squabbles....
I remember being taught it is Yes SIR or No SIR and Yes Ma'am or No Ma'am, AND T H A N K Y O U!!!

I remember when my mother would give me and my brother a dollar apiece, and we would go to the ball field and play ball all day long, and could feed some of our buddies with that dollar bill! We drank RC Cola and some sort of candy bar! That was in the 60's!
I also remember the days where only the girls had earrings and wore makeup! Not meant to offend anyone.

$00.27 cents/gallon of gas.
Riding horses to the swimming hole, skinning dipping, eating frog legs or bull heads for lunch.
A bunch of us teenagers building a log cabin and camping out during Christmas break eating birds and muskrats.
When there was no such thing as video games, and we played outside 365 days a year.
Neighborhood football and baseball games.
Opening day of pheasant and deer season meant that teaches didn't make lessons for the day.
