grey fox run just like a rabbit and will climb if the dog gets enough pressure on it. if the dog cant get enough pressure the fox will keep playing with them. a deer will run for miles and a red fox runs like a rabbit but alot bigger circles and there trickier than a grey fox. so id narrow it down to a fox or deer. ive also seen some old coons throw dogs for a loop and trick them and make it seem like there runnin junk
If it was a fox it would stop and bark, regardless of the pressure it is put on it. Bobcats will run those same patterns as all those animals. Mine would run it to the same track pattern everytime. My buddy always tell me let him run til he gets a lil winded, and then put the breaks on him seems to stop quicker after bout 40 mins of hard running. LOL, alil secerts bout cats the spray glads or at the rear of that short tail.

Well I did so reading on this an ive come up with that he is just running in a straight line so I watched him on my garmin so I beeped him twice an he started hunting got treed on a big den tree next he drove a track in there about 600 yards treed an had the coon so I think I will start watching him on my garmin an if he runs a straight line ill just beep him an maybe he will stop doing it that's just my opinion

that should do the trick. he could be runnin so many things if you set down and think about it itll make your head spin lol. like i stated above a fox or a bobcat but ive treed both of them. a bobcat climbs and bails till it gets tired. a fox will climb and bail to the same as a cat will but they will both stay eventually
Hey thanks for all the help don't know what I did but its working my is freeing coon an not running junk thanks a lot Jughead
